Wizards of the Coast just added Tal’dorei Campaign Setting Reborn, Critical Role’s most recent Dungeons and Dragons book, to D&D Beyond. Players can now access all the stat blocks, lore, and Dungeons and Dragons character options from this book through the D&DBeyond app.

Critical Role publishing company Darrington Press originally released Tal’dorei Campaign Setting Reborn on January 18, 2022. A follow-up to the original Tal’dorei Campaign Setting book from 2017, this sourcebook contained tons of tools for players to bring Exandria to their games, especially when combined with official D&D products like Explorer's Guide to Wildemount and Call of the Netherdeep.

Now, players can access everything from this third-party Dungeons and Dragons book on D&D Beyond. The book includes gorgeous maps and illustrations, story hooks, and over 40 creature stat blocks featured in the Critical Role campaigns. The heroes from the Legend of Vox Machina also have updated lore and stats, allowing players to have these iconic characters cameo in their own games. Players can find seven feats, five backgrounds, and more than 35 magic items, including the Vestiges of Divergence themselves, in Tal’dorei Reborn.

This massive sourcebook also contains nine new subclasses players can use for their Dungeons and Dragons characters:

  • Path of the Juggernaut Barbarian, an unstoppable force and an immovable object.
  • College of Tragedy Bard, who weave doom and gloom to influence the battlefield.
  • Blood Domain Cleric, used by the villainous Cree from Campaign 2.
  • Moon Domain Cleric, who channels the two moons of the Critical Role world.
  • Circle of the Blighted Druid, a sinister, corrupt take on the natural world.
  • Way of the Cobalt Soul Monk and Oath of the Open Sea Paladin, which was made famous by Beauregard and Fjord of the Mighty Nein.
  • Runechild Sorcerer, the subclass wielded by Gilmore, the fan-favorite shopkeeper NPC.
  • Blood Magic Wizard, an arcane tradition that uses their life force to amplify their spells.

The Tal’dorei Campaign Setting Reborn book can be purchased on D&D Beyond for $30 right now, down from its normal cost of $40. This is the same price as Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants on D&D Beyond, which Wizards of the Coast recently released. However, this official sourcebook only contains a single subclass and two backgrounds, though it contains a comparable amount of magic items and monsters.

Players looking to get more character options for the cost might consider Critical Role’s book. However, they should be sure to check with the Dungeon Master to confirm they approve of third-party materials beforehand.
