Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is one of the most popular third-person shooters on the market and has retained one of the most dedicated fan bases in the gaming community. Since the game's release, it has been flooded with content, adapted a new seasonal style of service, and continued to add new weapons and armor sets into the game. As the game has aged, more gameplay styles have become viable thanks to the addition of armor sets and new weapon perks.

There are many types of players who enjoy The Division 2 and each player's style is different. For players who enjoy controlling the combat zone, a sniper may be the best weapon in slot. For more versatile firefighters, an assault rifle or an SMG may get the job done. However, for the players who enjoy being in the fray and throwing caution to the wind, a shotgun can be an invaluable tool while taking on the content in Tom Clancy's The Division 2.

The Rock'N'Roll is a shotgun based off of the ACE-12 automatic model, also referred to as the AA12. Among automatic shotguns, the ACS-12 lacks in impact and doesn't do as much damage as other shotguns per shot, but is an excellent tool to shred enemy armor.

Thanks to the weapon's rate of fire and bonus stats, the Rock'N'Roll can cut down most enemies with little problem. The Lullaby shotgun is a great tank and support weapon thanks to its upgraded talents. When players melee enemies after swapping to this weapon, they can heavily debuff their target while receiving a boost in survivability. Striking an enemy with this weapon inflicts them with the Sandman debuff, restricting the enemy's healing. At the same time, players receive a large amount of bonus armor, which is reapplied if the player kills the enemy afflicted with the debuff.

The Scorpio is one of the most unique exotic shotguns in The Division 2, as it comes with a laundry list of effects that it can afflict targets with. The Scorpio has a talent called Septic Shot: every shot inflicts a target with a venom stack that provides a set debuff. For every shot that a target takes, each different debuff stacks with the previous. The first three shots poison, disorient, and shock the target, while the final shot increases all incoming damage to the target until defeated.

3 The Cuelebre

the division 2

The Cuelebre is a great head-hunting shotgun with some serious damage capabilities, especially when placed alongside the appropriate weapon mods and armor sets. The Cuelebre succeeds in dealing massive damage per shot as a single pump shotgun with a five-round magazine.

The perk that sends this weapon to the top is called Premeditated. This perk boosts the weapon's damage by a maximum of 35% for every shell reloaded into the weapon. In addition, the weapon rolls with the perk Jazz Hands, which increases the weapon's reload speed substantially.

The Tsunami is overshadowed by many other weapons in the game, but with the right build and combination of perks, it can stand just as tall as most nail drivers on the list. The Tsunami is a high-end named weapon and has a standard magazine size of seven rounds, modeled after the Marine Super 90.

What makes the weapon special is that it rolls with the perk "Perfect Pummel." Perfect Pummel grants the weapon a 40% increase in damage and reloads the weapon upon killing two enemies back to back. This perk is great for mobile players who aren't afraid to get up close.

It can roll with a number of different perks that can increase its lethality or compliments multiple types of builds such as status effects, amor shredding, or tank builds, making the Super 90 is a welcome addition to any armory.

As a normal high-end weapon, the Super 90 can go just about anywhere and hold its own in some of the most difficult content in the game without much of a problem. Hopefully this weapon makes it into the upcoming spinoff, Heartland.
