Disney has revealed yet another card for its first TCG DisneyLorcana featuring Olaf, a popular Frozen character, set to be released next Fall. The first look at the Lorcana trading cards was unveiled at the latest D23 convention back in September, Disney's popular event for fans. The six cards initially revealed included Elsa, Stitch, Cruella De Vil, Robin Hood, and Captain Hook. Disney is hoping its new card game will be able to compete with the likes of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: TheGathering. The cards being revealed are part of the first debut set next Fall titled DisneyLorcana: TheFirstChapter. The news that Disney was partnering with famous puzzle maker Ravensburger to create this new TCG was made this past August. Although avid players and collectors have a long wait before they can physically get their hands on the cards, the official Twitter account for Lorcana is keeping the hype alive by slowly revealing new cards. Whether this new TCG will be able to stand on its own remains to be seen, but many Disney fans are undoubtedly excited as this most recent announcement gives gamers who loved Frozen something to look forward to.RELATED:Marvel Snap Players Disappointed With Collector's Reserve RewardsDisneyLorcana's Twitter just revealed the first look at their Olaf card from the extremely popular Frozen film franchise. The card features the happy snowman voiced by Josh Gad, accompanied by his famous catchphrase, "I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs." The art is stunning and has already gained appreciation from Twitter fans, who wonder who the talented artist behind the design is. Olaf will be joining Elsa who was already revealed and is another iconic character in her own right. DisneyLorcana's Twitter is actively replying to users commenting on the latest announcement stating they will disclose the identity of all the artists involved next year.

Olaf first made his debut in the first Frozen film in 2013, which became iconic with its catchy breakout song "Let It Go" and made bank at the box office, earning $1.2 billion worldwide. The famous snowman friend to Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff has become beloved by fans. Olaf eventually received his own spin-off show on Disney+, AtHomeWithOlaf, which was released to make staying home during COVID-19 lockdowns easier.

When DisneyLorcana does eventually release next year, hopefully, its cards won't fall into the hands of thieves and scalpers such as Pokemon did recently with one man allegedly stealing $1000 worth of Pokemon cards who was later arrested. The best thing Disney fans can hope for is a smooth release and the ability to play what is shaping up to be an interesting new TCG.

Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter will launch in Fall 2023.
