Whimsical Pie is a 3-Star recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley that requires some effort to prepare since one of its ingredients is the Dreamlight Fruit. As players know, some materials are only accessible once a certain Friendship Quest is complete, and Dreamlight Fruit is one of them.
Based on the Whimsical Pie’s rarity in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can conclude that a total of three ingredients are needed. According to the game’s description, the Whimsical Pie has speckles of Dreamlight that seem to shimmer in the fruit and pastry.
How To Make Whimsical Pie In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make a Whimsical Pie, players need to gather three ingredients which are; Wheat, Butter, and Dreamlight Fruit. The final ingredient demands a long and complicated process, so players might need to save a few Dreamlight to be able to unlock it.
Wheat
Wheat is very easy to get as it’s bought from Goofy’s Stall at the Peaceful Meadows. Unlike other materials like Basil and Oregano which are found on the ground, Wheat is either purchased in form of seed for planting and watering or as an ingredient ready for cooking.
Another great advantage of Wheat is that it exists in the Peaceful Meadow and this Biome is free from the moment players start their journey in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Butter
Butter is another ingredient that is easily obtainable. It's available at Chez Remy’s pantry for 190 Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unlike Peanut and Slush Ice which require certain Friendship Quests to be completed, Butter can be bought immediately.
Dreamlight Fruit
By rescuing Simba and bringing him to the valley and then increasing the Friendship level with The Lion, players will meet the necessary criteria to unlock the Dreamlight Fruit. The Seed of Memories Quest is triggered once the Sunlit Plateau is available, Dreamers have progressed with Scar, and most importantly, Simba is Friendship level seven.
Completing the Friendship Quest will unlock a Dreamlight Fruit Tree right next to the lone pond in Sunlit Plateau. The Tree will produce three Dreamlight Fruit Daily, so players need to check it every 24 hours to collect more. If Saviors haven't progressed with Scar enough to upgrade the Pickaxe to destroy the bones blocking the way, then Simba will go through the Forgotten Lands and enter the Sunlit Plateau from the other side.
To get more than one Dreamlight Fruit Tree, Simba has to be Friendship level 10 and The Dreamlight Grove Quest must be complete. This results in a Dreamlight Fruit Tree growing in three different Biomes; the Glade of Trust, the Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.
Throw all gathered ingredients into any pot and use one Coal Ore to cook the dish. Whimsical Pie will give 1,497 Energy and can be sold for 324 Star Coins.
