How to Get Glimmer
Glimmer is a Timebending Part that players have a chance to discover when Timebending. Players can begin to collect Glimmer while Timebending once they have upgraded the Royal Hourglass to Level 2 at the Timebending Table. This upgrade costs 10,000 Mist, Eternity Isle’s version of the Dreamlight resource.
Once the player has upgraded the Royal Hourglass to Level 2, they can start searching for Glimmer via Timebending. However, unlike all other Timebending Parts and Timebending Gifts, Glimmer cannot be found while searching on Eternity Isle or in the Valley.
Instead, Glimmer is found exclusively in Dreamlight Valley’s Realms, the special areas players can unlock in the Royal Castle. Each Realm is themed to a specific Disney universe, and completing associated quests within the Realms is key to unlocking new characters. Players will find only Mist or Glimmer when Timebending in a Realm, never any other Timebending Parts or Timebending Gifts.
Players can quickly teleport to Realms using the Fast Travel menu. Open the Map, use the corresponding Fast Travel hotkey found at the bottom right of the screen, and select the Realms tab and desired destination.
There are currently seven available Realms in which players can search for Glimmer. Larger Realms, such asThe Lion King, Moana, Toy Story, Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast Realms, will typically allow the player to search and retrieve three items before no more are available. Smaller Realms like Wall-E and Ratatouille, on the other hand, will yield only one item at a time. It is completely random whether the player will receive Glimmer or Mist when a treasure is uncovered.
In The Lion King Realm, players may be directed toward an inaccessible treasure spot atop a waterfall. To resolve this, exit the Realm and reenter. This has a chance to change the treasure's location to a reachable area. If the treasure remains inaccessible, repeat the process of exiting and reentering until it spawns in an accessible spot.

Once all available treasures have been retrieved, the game will display a message that no more are available and the player should leave the Realm via its exit. The player can then re-enter the small Realms, WALL-E and Ratatouille, two more times to retrieve one treasure on each visit. Once the player has retrieved three treasures total from each Realm in a single day, the treasures will not respawn until the following day.
What is Glimmer Used For?
Glimmer is a Timebending Part used in furniture crafting recipes at the Timebending Table. Specifically, it is used in recipes found in the Fragments category. These items are special pieces of furniture and décor that are themed to unique Disney universes. The furniture in this category is challenging to craft because, in addition to the steep Glimmer requirement, the recipes also call for Timebending Fragments.
How to Get Timebending Fragments
Timebending Fragments can be found when Timebending on Eternity Isle or in the Valley. However, players can recover only one type of Timebending Fragment on any given day. Additionally, certain Timebending Fragments are available only after the Royal Hourglass has been upgraded to Level 2 or Level 3. There is no pattern to which Timebending Fragment is available each day; it is completely random. Therefore, it is possible for players to get unlucky when hoping to get a certain item.

Timebending Fragments can be traded with other players via the ValleyVerse multiplayer feature. Both players must have purchased the A Rift in Time expansion in order to trade for items.
Players can check which Timebending Fragment is currently available by opening the Collection menu, selecting the Timebending icon, and scrolling down to the Fragments section. Hover over each of the Fragments and check the bottom right corner to see the availability and the required Royal Hourglass Level before it is possible to find those items.
