Every biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley has all sorts of resources and ingredients that can be obtained. Whether they are gathered or purchased from Goofy's Stall, every single resource has a purpose of some kind. But some resources are not as common as others, and in some cases, they share spawn points with other resources. This is often the case with gems, especially ones like Aquamarine.

Since they share spawn points with other gems and other resources like Coal, Stone, and Iron Ore, in some cases, Aquamarine can be difficult to find. This guide will show players how to get Aquamarines in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where Can Aquamarines Be Found?

Of all the biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Aquamarines can only be found in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor. In these two biomes, players can find gems like Aquamarine in the large black rocks along the rock walls. Disney Dreamlight Valley players should keep an eye out for black rocks that have gems sticking out of them, as they are a guaranteed gem upon successfully breaking them with the Pickaxe.

Players should also be aware that Aquamarines share spawn points with Emeralds in the Forest of Valor and Peridots in Dazzle Beach. So even if a gem does drop, there is no guarantee that it will be an Aquamarine. On top of that, there is another kind of gem called Shiny Aquamarine, which is rarer and has a higher selling price.

The black rocks respawn after a while, so if players need more gems, they can come back later to continue mining for them. It is a good idea to bring along a Companion with the Mining Role, as that can help players get more gems when they do spawn.

What Are Aquamarines Used For?

Early on in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the first thing that players will notice is that gems like Aquamarine sell for decent money. While a normal Aquamarine sells for 250 Star Coins, a Shiny Aquamarine sells for 1,000 Star Coins.

In addition to being a good way for players to make some extra Star Coins, Aquamarines are also used for crafting. One example is a Blue Wrought Iron Streetlamp, which is crafted with five Iron Ingots, two Glass, and one Aquamarine. Another recipe that uses Aquamarine is DJ Booth Rig, which requires 100 Iron Ingots, six Topazes, six Aquamarines, and six Tourmalines.

Are Aquamarines Needed For Quests?

Like with many resources and items in the game, Aquamarines are eventually needed for at least one quest. As Disney Dreamlight Valley players rank up their Friendship with Ursula, she will eventually have a Friendship Quest for them that is called The Ritual.

One of the items needed for this Friendship Quest is five Aquamarines. Only normal Aquamarines can be used for this quest, so if players happen to come across any Shiny Aquamarines, it is recommended they set them aside in case the Shiny variant is needed in the future.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
