Disney Dreamlight Valley is a magical life simulation and adventure title that takes players to an enchanting valley where they can live alongside their favorite characters from the Disney universe. As players explore the magical biomes, they can become friends with those characters and raise their friendship levels with them by completing their friendship quests.
One of the friendship quests is Village Project: Restoring the Sunstone. In this quest, players help Mother Gothel restore the Sunstone. Read on to learn how to finish this quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock Village Project: Restoring the Sunstone
Before Dreamers can start this quest, they will have to reach friendship level 10 with Mother Gothel. Furthermore, they must also have Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands unlocked.
Speak to Mother Gothel and Restore the Dawn Fragment
Once done, players should speak to Mother Gothel, who will tell them that she has finally found a way to restore the Sunstone. But for that, she will need to restore the fragments first. Starting with the Dawn Fragment, she will ask players to collect some ingredients and cook them with the fragment.
The required ingredients are:
- 1 x lemon
- 1 x oregano
- 1 x mint
- 1 x ocean water.
Lemons can be harvested from the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor. Oregano grows in the Plaza, while mint can be found in Frosted Heights. To collect ocean water, players will have to head to Dazzle Beach. After collecting the required ingredients, go to a stove and toss the ingredients into the cooking pot along with the Dawn Fragment to cook the Gleaming Dawn Fragment.
Restore the Dusk Fragment
As for the Dusk Fragment, Dreamers will have to plant it in the Forgotten Lands using the shovel tool. Once done, water it using the watering can until it’s restored. Once it is restored, saviors should talk to Mother Gothel again, who will now task them with collecting the Sun Meteorites in the Forgotten Lands.
Craft the Sunstone
After collecting the required number of Sun Meteorites, players will have to head back to Mother Gothel. During the conversation, she will request players to make the Sunstone. Therefore, the next step involves crafting the Sunstone at a crafting station. Once done, head back to Mother Gothel and hand her the Sunstone. After a brief conversation, she will reward players with Mother Gothel’s Standing Mirror, concluding the quest.
