Vanilla Ice Cream is a four-star recipe that restores 1,475 energy once consumed. In order to make Vanilla Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players need slush ice, vanilla, milk, and sugarcane. Although this recipe is a classic, its ingredients can be kinda tricky to obtain, in particular slush ice. Players that have already unlocked slush ice should also try making Coconut Ice Cream.

The name Vanilla Ice Cream makes it sound like it's a recipe that's easy to prepare and players shouldn't have too much trouble making it, but that's not the case. Slush ice is one of the most difficult ingredients to unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and since it's essential for this dish, it makes it considerably harder to make. Thankfully, once the player has access to it, the recipe won't be much trouble at all.

Slush ice can only be purchased at Remy's shop inside his restaurant, but it'll only be available for purchase once the player is working their way through The Unknown Flavor quest. Remy will actually ask players to make Vanilla Ice Cream before they complete the quest. Once available it costs 150 Star Coins. Milk can also be bought at Remy's shop for 230 Star Coins.

The next ingredient is a free resource that shouldn't give players too much trouble. Vanilla can be foraged in the Sunlit Plateau biome.

Lastly, players will also need sugarcane which can be bought at Goofy's Stall at Dazzle Beach. Fully-grown sugarcane costs 29 Star Coins, and sugarcane seeds cost 5 Star Coins but take seven minutes to grow once planted.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
