Gameloft's Disney Dreamlight Valley has become a staple of the cozy life-simulation genre, but it still has yet to implement one key feature.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Will Fix the Invisible Furniture Bug Soon

Some six weeks later, Gameloft has detailed a number of critical bug fixes that are planned to debut as part of Update 11. Chief among them is a weird issue with Disney Dreamlight Valley furniture that sometimes makes objects turn invisible, seemingly at random. The upcoming patch should also improve stability, with Gameloft stating that it's working on reducing the rate of crashes across all platforms. While crashes have been a sporadic problem with Disney Dreamlight Valley since its early access phase, some recent player reports suggest that they have become a much more frequent occurrence in 2024, especially on PC.

Update 11 will also be geared toward improving some Disney Dreamlight Valley quests. Specifically, Gameloft said that the upcoming release will address a variety of quest progression blockers. Additionally, the update will eliminate a peculiar bug that sometimes causes the game to freeze during outdoor cooking sessions. The issue itself is believed to have been introduced in Update 10, and only affects a small subset of recipes, including Mermaid Cupcake, Good Ol' Fashioned Burger, and Piquant Piranha Soup, among a dozen others.

Moreover, the upcoming patch will make Daisy Duck's Boutique Challenges in Disney Dreamlight Valley a bit more accessible by having Daisy share the time when players can tackle their next challenge. The update will also fix some object clipping issues with a variety of dresses. General-purpose performance optimizations will also be part of the upcoming package, together with some smaller bug fixes and yet-to-be-specified improvements.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Update 11 is expected to roll out in a matter of days. That's based on the game's previously shared roadmap, which promised that the upcoming patch will debut in "late spring 2024." With summer being set to officially start on June 20, Gameloft has one more week to hit that launch window target. Aside from bug fixes, the next version of Disney Dreamlight Valley is also expected to introduce a new Realm and at least one additional character.
