How To Complete The Price Of Fame In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Speak With Remy
Players must get to friendship level seven with Remy to start the Price of Fame quest. Once done, talk to Remy, who will explain that the restaurant has been successful and has more customers than he can handle. In light of this situation, he will kindly request players’ assistance.
But there’s a catch: the restaurant maintains certain standards and proper attire for workers is mandatory. Therefore, Remy will give players the chef uniform, which they need to put on before they start helping out.
Serve the Requested Meals
Next, enter the restaurant and talk to Remy, who reveals that players need to serve three customers. It is noteworthy that players cannot serve any random meal to the customers; they must bring them the food that customers ask for.
Secondly, the quest is not only about serving the food; players will also need to cook the meals themselves. For example, if a villager orders Cheesecake, players will have to go to a cooking station and select the recipe for Cheesecake from the menu. Next, select the required ingredients, i.e., cheese, sugarcane, wheat, and fruit, and hit the ‘Start Cooking’ button. Once the dish is prepared, players can serve it by selecting the "I have your order" option.
Although the timing of the customers arriving at the restaurant is pretty random, some characters have their patterns. For instance, Goofy often arrives at the restaurant at lunchtime. As for Merlin, he usually visits the restaurant in the morning and at night.
However, if Dreamers miss a customer at their specific time frame, they can still get through this quest without having to wait for the customer to show up again. The time in Disney Dreamlight Valley follows the time set for the system by players. If they have 9 pm on their system, it's probably nighttime in the Valley too. Therefore, altering the in-game time can do the job.
Remember that two customers arrive at the restaurant around 2 pm, so manually set the system time to 2 o'clock and restart the game. Once done, Donald and Mickey would likely be waiting for players to get their orders at that hour.
Talk to Remy
After serving three orders, players should talk to Remy again, who will thank them for their assistance. This will conclude the quest, and players will get 880 friendship XP as a reward.
