The main story of Disney Dreamlight Valley continues in the fifth major update for the game. Ever since the start of Early Access, players have worked to uncover the mystery of the Forgetting. Over the past few story quests, players have learned more about the mysterious entity known as the Forgotten and even came face to face with them during the Fairy God Mother story quest.
That story quest is not the only one in this update, however. The next quest, "The Forgotten Relics", is time gated and eventually unlocks for players. This guide will show Disney Dreamlight Valley players how to complete "The Forgotten Relics".
Speak With Merlin
Once this quest unlocks, go to Merlin and check in with him about his investigation. After talking to Merlin, the next step will be to follow him to Mickey's house. Talk to Merlin again and then go inside Mickey's house.
On the table is a book that is engulfed in dark energy. Pick it up and then talk to Merlin. He tells Disney Dreamlight Valley players that he has an enchantment in mind, but it requires three more Forgotten Relics similar to the one that was found in Mickey's house.
Where to Find the Other Forgotten Relics
The remaining three Forgotten Relics are scattered all over the village. The second Forgotten Relic can be found in Scar's cave. Look for a drawing of Scar that is on the ground.
Each Forgotten Relic that is picked up unlocks an additional story quest where players must speak with either Mickey, Scar, Olaf, and Ursula.
The third Forgotten Relic is in the cave where players found Olaf. Go inside the cave and go toward the corner of the room where there is a floating bookshelf. On the ground is a blanket which can be picked up.
The fourth and final Forgotten Relic is in the cave that Ursula was trapped in on Dazzle Beach. Go to the left side of the chamber to spot beach toys engulfed in darkness. Pick them up to get another side quest, just like with the other three Forgotten Relics.
Talk to Scar, Mickey, Olaf, and Ursula
After obtaining all four Forgotten Relics, players will still need to talk to the four characters mentioned above along with Elsa and Moana. Most of these quests are pretty simple, but one tricky requirement for them is that players must have completed the Level 10 friendship quests for Ursula, Elsa, Scar, and Moana to complete this step of the quest. Players just have to talk to Mickey to complete his quest. After speaking with Olaf, talk to Elsa to complete that quest.
In order to complete Ursula's quest, talk to Ursula and then speak with Moana. Simply talk to Scar to complete his quest. Once all four side quests have been completed, the quest will be completed and players will get the next quest "The Dark Castle".
