Robot Fish are a fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time expansion, and they play an important role in the Flying Metal Nuisance Story Quest. More specifically, Robot Fish is used in a dish that must be prepared as part of that Story Quest, and fans cannot continue exploring Eternity Isle until they cook it. Fortunately, it is not extremely difficult to get a Rainbow Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, though these aquatic creatures can prove to be a bit elusive.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Robot Fish Location

Players that are on the hunt for a Robot Fish must put their efforts toward locating a gold ripple pool within the waters in the Docks and Overlook areas. For full clarity, the Docks are the area where fans will find themselves upon arriving at Eternity Isle, and a gold ripple pool seems to appear quite regularly next to the bridge that leads to the landmass with WALL-E's EVE. The map and image that are below should make reaching that location quite easy, though fans should feel free to extend their search areas as needed.

If a player has thoroughly checked all the Eternity Isle bodies of water to which they have access and has still not located a gold ripple pool, they are advised to use Miracle Fishing Bait or Even More Miraculous Fishing Bait on their rods. Indeed, rods that are enhanced with those Disney Dreamlight Valley enchantments will turn white ripple pools into gold pools for a designated number of casts, and they make catching Robot Fish very easy. For the uninitiated, Miracle Fishing Bait and Even More Miraculous Fishing Bait are unlocked during Working Miracles, a Story Quest that comes from Merlin.

Players that are struggling to find a gold ripple pool on Disney Dreamlight Valley'se Eternity Isle could also consider temporarily focusing on another activity, or taking a short break, and then checking again. Indeed, a gold pool will undoubtedly appear around the Docks, giving fans the opportunity to catch a Robot Fish, eventually.

Regardless of the exact method that a player uses to gain access to a gold ripple pool in the Docks or Overlook areas, they should cast the lines of their rods into it and complete Disney Dreamlight Valley's fishing mini-game when one is located. Those actions will culminate with the acquisition of a Robot Fish, and fans can use it to advance the Flying Metal Nuisance Story Quest if that is indeed the reason that they are looking for this creature.
