Although it is possible to discover new items by exploring the world in Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are other items like Furniture and Cosmetics that can only be acquired once players complete a friendship Quest. For example, visiting Remy in his realm won’t only bring him back to the village, but it will also unlock many unique recipes.
As Saviors spend more time with the little chef, Remy will reveal that he’s having a hard time recalling his recipes because of the Forgetting in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Therefore, he sends players on a mission to find the missing Recipe Books. The only clue is a photograph that shows three mysterious locations.
Where To Find Remy's Recipe Books In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To find Remy's Recipe Books in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must dig the shining spots in three different locations, as shown in Mickey’s Memory.
The first Recipe Book is in the Peaceful Meadow, on the right side of the main stairs that lead to Dazzle Beach. Use the Shovel in Disney Dreamlight Valley to dig out the Recipe Book.
The second Recipe Book is on the lowest level inside the hidden cave on Dazzle Beach. Across the cooking stove, there’s a book sticking out of the ground, dig that spot to collect the second Recipe Book. Keep in mind that the cave can only be unlocked once Saviors speak with Ursula and complete the With Great Power Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
As for the third and final Recipe Book, head to Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach and dig out the hole in front of his shop to collect the last Recipe Book. After that, hand over all the recipes to Remy to continue the Questline.
Remy's Recipe Books Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To trigger Remy’s Recipe Book Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players need to fix the Chez Remy building in the valley and reach a certain friendship level with the Rat. The little chef will then ask players for help in retrieving old recipes, as he forgot all of them because of the curse.
Head to Mickey Mouse to receive a Memory that shows the location of three Recipe Books. Upon finding all three books, give them to Remy who then asks for Peanuts. Saviors must now return to the little chef realm in the Dream Castle to get the Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredient. Return to Chez Remy and the Rat will teach players two recipes; Peanut Butter Sandwich and Peanut Butter Waffles.
The Quest ends with cooking one of two newly learned recipes. The Peanut Butter Sandwich requires Peanuts and Wheat. As for the Peanut Butter Waffles, Peanuts, Wheat, Eggs, and Milk are needed to make the dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
All necessary ingredients can be easily found early game. Chez Remy sells Peanuts, Eggs, and Milk the moment it opens. Wheat is purchased from Goofy’s Stall at Peaceful Meadow.
