Disney Dreamlight Valley is filled with personalities from the ever-expanding Disney universe, featuring characters from Toy Story, Frozen, Cinderella, and other beloved films. With a steady stream of characters being added during the game's Early Access phase, the array is always expanding. One of the first characters the player can unlock in Dreamlight Valley, aside from Mickey and his friends, is Remy, the beloved rat chef from Ratatouille.

After a handful of introductory quests, the player is given the opportunity to enter one of three starting realms, one of which is the Ratatouille Realm. Remy is one of the more complex characters featured in Dreamlight Valley, as he offers additional quests and even has his own restaurant. Here’s everything players need to know about Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Once the player has unlocked the Ratatouille Realm within the Dream Castle, they can start the quest "An Important Night at the Restaurant," which unlocks Remy upon completion.

The player has the opportunity to enter one of the three introductory realms and unlock either Remy, Moana, or Wall-E at no cost. Opening the other two realms will cost 3,000 Dreamlight each, an in-game currency earned through gameplay.

When to Find Remy in Dreamlight Valley

All characters in Dreamlight Valley, barring Merlin, maintain unique daily schedules. Merlin is an exception, being accessible to the player around the clock. Remy does have a regular sleep schedule like other residents; however, he will always show up to supervise the player if they cook in his restaurant’s kitchen. Unfortunately, the player will not be able to interact with him at these times to turn in quests, give gifts, or any other actions available only when he is awake.

When is Remy Awake?

Remy's active hours stretch from 10 PM until 6 PM the following day.

During this window, players can locate Remy most commonly in his restaurant, but he can also be found exploring the various biomes of Dreamlight Valley. In either location, the player is able to present him with gifts and engage in dialogue to boost Friendship. Additionally, Remy can tag along with the player and offer extra bonuses when assigned a Companion Role at Friendship Level 2.

When is Remy Asleep?

From 6 PM to 10 PM, Remy is off-duty, spending this time resting in his massive mansion.

During these hours, interactions with Remy are not possible until he wakes up at 10 PM, preventing the completion of any quests involving Remy or requiring entry into his home.

When is Remy in His Restaurant (Chez Remy)?

Remy's presence in Chez Remy can be expected between 1 AM and 5 AM and from 11 AM until 2 PM.

While Remy is at his restaurant, the player has the opportunity to speak with him, give gifts, and complete quest objectives. However, Remy does not take a seat in his own restaurant and cannot be served prepared dishes in order to raise his Friendship like the player can with other Valley residents.
