As Dreamers progress through Disney Dreamlight Valley and uncover more secrets while unlocking new characters, they will stumble upon some materials required to complete certain Quests. These materials may vary from a simple 1-Star meal to a unique flower found in a late-game Biome.

The Purple Impatiens are a rare type of Foraging material that can be used to make various items at the Crafting Station. They are small flowers worth 40 Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which isn’t that much considering other materials’ worth. As a result, it’s best to use Purple Impatiens to craft an item or use it as a gift.

Where To Find Purple Impatiens In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Purple Impatiens can only be found in the Forgotten Lands in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sadly, the map only shows the location of Goofy’s Stall, characters’ houses, and planted crops. There are no indications that reveal the flowers' location, which means that Dreamers must comb the area thoroughly to locate the Purple Impatiens.

Another problem that may annoy players is that the Forgotten Lands is full of tall giant trees, spiky thorns, and weird green flames that block some paths. So, it is certainly hard to walk around in this Biome without getting stuck on an awkward camera angle.

How To Unlock The Forgotten Lands

The Forgotten Lands is the last Biome Dreamers will unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It costs 15,000 Dreamlight to remove the giant thorns blocking the way and gain access to the new area. However, the Forgotten Lands can only be reached from the Sunlit Plateau. The latter requires 7,000 Dreamlight to unlock, which means that players must save a whopping 22,000 Dreamlight to open the Forgotten Lands and collect some Purple Impatiens.

If Dreamers don’t wish to use the Purple Impatiens for crafting and decoration, it’s possible to give it to other characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley as a gift to increase their Friendship EXP. Some of them will even request it as one of their three items of the day. As a gift, the amount of EXP it gives depends on whether the character requested the flower as their item of the day, or if players gift it randomly.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
