The next Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path will be called the Wonder of Pixar, and it's going to be all about known Pixar movies and characters. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a live service game that will go free-to-play soon. Just like many games that provide this kind of service, it has a battle pass-like system called Star Path, and players can purchase it and attempt to complete it in order to acquire exclusive content only available for a limited amount of time.So far, many gamers have enjoyed this type of content. Instead of pouring out streams of paid DLC, players pay a fixed price (in this case, Moonstones) and have to try and complete as many Duties as possible in order to receive the various Star Path cosmetic items available. It has worked with games such as Fortnite, and it has been such a success that some even believe The Sims 5 should choose this monetization route instead of fans having to pay over $1,000 to acquire all the DLC available for the game.Gamers have been anticipating a new Star Path announcement for a while now, and the time has finally come. With the release of June's Update 5, players will also be able to participate in the Wonder of Pixar Star Path event. The featured image for the new Star Path indicates that those who acquire it will have the opportunity to unlock a new Dreamlight Style for Buzz Lightyear and several Turning Red cosmetics, including an onesie, a statue, and some motifs. According to the recently released Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap, players will also be able to get some Finding Nemo and Inside Out furniture, outfits, and motifs.
Last time around, to promote the Disney Parks Star Path, Disney Dreamlight Valley released a community challenge to put players to the test. Many fans enjoyed being part of it, especially since everyone received free rewards whenever a milestone was completed. It is unknown if the developers have any plans for a new community challenge, but it would certainly be a big motivation to get players to complete the Star Path as soon as possible.
Although gamers were excited to know more information regarding the new Star Path, most of the replies to the announcement post were related to Update 5's release. The date for the Disney Dreamlight Valley update has been narrowed down significantly, and players now know that it's coming in early June, but they still don't know the exact day, which definitely creates a lot of anticipation.
