Disney Dreamlight Valley’s A Rift in Time expansion introduces players to Eternity Isle. This large island features three new biomes teeming with new critters, ingredients, and mysterious new items obtained via Timebending, treasure hunting performed using the Royal Hourglass tool.

In addition to the plethora of new cooking ingredients, players will also find that Goofy’s Stalls on Eternity Isle stock seeds for all-new vegetables to add to their pantry. The expansion also introduces a variety of new fish and seafood ingredients that players can reel in from any of the Isle’s waters or from the sand-filled ponds of the Glittering Dunes.

Pirarucu is a rare new fish players can catch within the Wild Tangle, a dense jungle featuring rich blue rivers and ponds that are teeming with species both old and new. Players can use this exotic new ingredient to prepare just one new recipe, Moqueca de Pirarucu. Here’s how to make this new four-star entrée in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time.

How to Make Moqueca de Pirarucu

Moqueca de Pirarucu is a new seafood dish added in A Rift in Time that uses one of the many new fish players can catch on Eternity Isle. This recipe features two versatile ingredient slots, allowing players to include any Vegetables of their choosing. To prepare Moqueca de Pirarucu, use these ingredients:

• 1 Pirarucu
• 1 Coconut
• 2 Vegetable (Any)

In preparing Moqueca de Pirarucu, players can select any Vegetable, which will alter the dish's selling price and energy restoration. The base energy restored is 3453 energy, and the starting selling price at Goofy’s Stall is 1000 Star Coins.

How to Get Ingredients for Moqueca de Pirarucu

Moqueca de Pirarucu's namesake is the Pirarucu, one of the largest freshwater fishes in the world and certainly one of the biggest catches in Dreamlight Valley. Fans of the Animal Crossing series might recognize this fish by its other name: Arapaima. Thankfully, while still a rare catch, the Pirarucu is much easier to find in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Pirarucu

Pirarucu is a rare fish caught exclusively in the Wild Tangle biome. This fish can be caught in orange pools in all four of the biome’s areas: The Grasslands, The Grove, The Lagoon, and The Promenade. Players fishing for Pirarucu should consider using Miracle Fishing Bait, which will change all white pools into orange pools when cast into.

Coconut

Coconut is a fruit ingredient that players can forage from trees in the Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach biomes in the Valley. Before Coconuts can be collected, players must complete the Friendship Quest “Burying The Eel” for Moana’s Maui. Once the quest is completed, Coconut Trees will grow and the player can obtain Coconuts.

Vegetables

When preparing Moqueca de Pirarucu, players can use any two Vegetables of their choosing. They can use two of the same Vegetable, or two different ones. Easy options include Lettuce and Carrots, both of which grow very fast. Players looking to maximize the selling price of this already valuable dish should opt to include Pumpkins.
