Developed by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley is an enchanting game filled with challenging quests and various thrilling activities. The life sim stars many iconic characters from the Disney universe and lets players meet and interact with them as they progress through the game.
Each character in Disney Dreamlight Valley presents a number of friendship quests that players can complete to increase their friendship level. The Missing Prince is one of the many quests offered by Ariel, the beautiful mermaid. This detailed guide will share step-by-step instructions on how to complete this quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete The Missing Prince in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before undertaking The Missing Prince quest, Dreamers will need to fulfill a few prerequisites first:
- Complete The Lonely Island and unlock Ariel.
- Reach friendship level three with Ariel.
- Unlock Maui, Kristoff, and Donald Duck.
Talk to Ariel
Once players have fulfilled all the requirements, they can speak with Ariel to begin the quest. During the conversation, the mermaid will tell players that she has been looking for his prince Eric, but he is nowhere to be found. To worsen the situation, other residents in the valley also seem to have forgotten him. Therefore, she will request players to ask Kristoff, Merlin, and Maui about his whereabouts.
Collect the Expedition Records Book and Eric’s Statue Face
Kristoff will reveal that he used to help a guy with his sea expeditions and that he might still have some records of his expeditions at his house. Therefore, go to Kristoff’s house in the Forest of Valor biome. Once there, players will need to visit the library, where they will find the book lying on a table.
After collecting the book, players should give it to Kristoff, who will tell them that Eric’s ship sank near Skull Rock on Dazzle Beach. Therefore, he will ask them to visit the area and find any clues. Once there, equip the fishing rod and aim at ripples to the right of the Skull Rock to fish out the statue's face.
With the statue's face in hand, head back to Ariel and talk to her. She will confirm that it looks like Eric and ask players to find more statue parts so they can build his statue that may trigger the memories of the villagers and help them remember more about the missing prince.
Collect All Statue Pieces
Next, return to Kristoff and show him the statue's face. Upon talking to him, players will find out that he has another statue piece at his house that he has been using as a paperweight, and Donald may also have a few of them. Therefore, head to his house and pick up the statue piece located near the table in the library.
Once found, players will need to ask Donald about it, who will tell them that he gave one to his uncle and buried the other one near the river in the Glade of Trust to protect it from The Forgetting. So, go there and dig it up using the shovel.
After finding the statue piece, players should go to Scrooge McDuck, who will propose exchanging the last piece for five Peridots. Peridots can be mined from the black rocks in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach. After finding five peridots, head back to Scrooge and get the last statue piece.
Return to Ariel and Fix the Statue
Lastly, Dreamers need to go back to Ariel, who will give them Superglue and request them to repair the statue. Go to a crafting station to fix the statue and place it next to the staircase on Dazzle Beach. As players place it, they’ll notice a memory dropping nearby, showing Eric talking to Ursula. Pick it up and tell Ariel about it to complete the quest.
