In the charming life-sim Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can engage with beloved Disney characters, befriending them and becoming a part of their day-to-day lives. The game's Remembering Update introduces a new resident, the Fairy Godmother from Disney's Cinderella.
Her appearance finally solves the mystery of the resident of the pumpkin house located in the Forgotten Lands. She does not need to be unlocked; the player will encounter her immediately upon logging into the game. The player will also automatically start a new adventure that begins with the quest "Miracles Take Time." Here's how to complete the Fairy Godmother's first series of quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete Miracles Take Time in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After updating Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will be treated to a brief cutscene upon logging in. The cutscene reveals a magical event taking place at the Pumpkin House in the Forgotten Lands. As the cutscene concludes, players will find themselves automatically embarking on the "Miracles Take Time" quest.
Speak to The Fairy Godmother in the Pumpkin House
Their first objective is to journey to the Forgotten Lands and conduct an investigation into the mysterious happenings at the Pumpkin House. Inside, they will meet the Fairy Godmother. The player discovers that they have been inside the Pumpkin House the entire time, striving to unravel the mystery of the Dreamscape.
Follow the Fairy Godmother
The player should then follow the Fairy Godmother as she leaves her pumpkin house and guides the player to a nearby large rock formation. Unveiling its magic, the Fairy Godmother reveals a treehouse encircled by night thorns. The player should enter the treehouse, and they will be transported to a dreamy realm.
Gather the Memory Orbs
Inside this new realm, the Dreamscape, gather the memories of the Forgotten by collecting them from pedestals scattered around. These memories unveil fragments of a new memory within the Dreamlight Valley memories category.
Once collected, return to the Fairy Godmother who will inform the player that there are missing memories that need to be recovered. Follow the Fairy Godmother, and players will see a shadowy gate has materialized nearby.
Become the Forgotten
Upon passing through the gate, the player enters an alternate version of Dreamlight Valley, assuming the form of the Forgotten—their malevolent alter ego. Here, speak with Mickey and choose any impolite response; this reveals the player's difficulty in expressing emotions adequately. Here, and in other realms, the player will encounter the lost memories of the Forgotten.
Forgotten Memories: Friendship
Gather Unattractive Flowers for Mickey Mouse
Inside this new realm, the Forgotten will relive one of their first memories in Dreamlight Valley, albeit a very corrupted version. Scour the field for sad-looking flowers and utilize Goofy's crafting table to create the Hideous Bouquet, found in the Functional Items category. Find Minnie Mouse near the pillar in the field and present her with the bouquet. Return to Mickey, who will then tell you to locate Goofy, who can be found nearby.
Prepare Bouillabaisse for Goofy
Goofy wants to share a meal with the player and asks them to prepare a dish of Bouillabaisse, just like when they first met. He supplies the player with a shrimp as a starting ingredient, and the rest of the ingredients must be gathered from around the valley. However, all the ingredients have spoiled. The most challenging ingredient to locate is the rotten tomato, concealed behind barrels. Return to Goofy and utilize his nearby stove to cook the Nasty Bouillabaisse. Once ready, deliver it to Goofy.
Return to Minnie
Minnie expresses affection towards the player, causing a memory to descend from the pillar, surrounded by night thorns. The player is teleported back to the Dreamscape, where they can retrieve the memory from the pillar in front of them. Collect the Memory of Friendship, unlocking another fragment while channeling its energy to the central pillar in the Dreamscape.
Forgotten Memories: Trust
Enter the Second Gate
Passing through the second gate transports the player to a forgotten version of the Glade of Trust. Inside, locate and speak with Mother Gothel. Follow her to the biome’s pillar and listen as she criticizes Merlin's judgment and knowledge. She then requests that the player remove the orb from the Pillar of Trust. After doing so, return to Mother Gothel, who will take the orb to dispose of it.
Retrieve the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror by Fishing
Mother Gothel assigns another task to the player, asking them to recover her beloved Jewel-Encrusted Mirror that has fallen into a nearby lake. Fish in each of the orange pools, retrieving an Old Fuse, followed by an Old Ball, and eventually the Jewel-Encrusted Mirror, albeit in a highly damaged state. Both of the other items will be removed from the player's inventory upon turning in the mirror.
Return to Mother Gothel
Deliver the mirror to Mother Gothel and she explains more of her big plan. Mother Gothel intends to imprison the player within her large tree, similar to what she did to Rapunzel. Thankfully, the player is instead teleported back to the Dreamscape.
Collect the Memory of Trust from the pillar, which reveals another fragment of the memory. Speak with the Fairy Godmother and disclose Gothel's unsurprising betrayal of the Forgotten.
Forgotten Memories: Nurturing
Locate Scar
To recover the final forgotten memory, follow the Fairy Godmother and proceed through the new shadowy gate, where the player's first objective is to locate The Lion King's Scar. Scar believes that he is being confined by the Orb within the pillar and requests the assistance of the Forgotten to destroy it. Furthermore, he despises flowers and asks the player to crush the nearby flowers to diminish the pillar's energy. Crush all eight flowers and return to Scar.
Plant the Night Thorn Seeds
Scar then entrusts the player with 15 Night Thorn Seeds and instructs them to plant five seeds at each of three designated locations. Plant and water the seeds causing the seeds to sprout instantly.
Once all 15 thorns have been planted, the orb will descend from the pillar. Retrieve the orb and deliver it to Scar outside his cave, and he will seal himself within the cave. The player must then seek out Merlin, who has appeared in the forgotten Sunlit Plateau.
Speak with Merlin
Merlin will inform the player that everyone in the valley genuinely loves and cares about them, despite their doubts. The player is then teleported back to the Dreamscape, where they can now collect the final memory. This memory reveals the last missing fragment, depicting the Forgotten rushing into the Dream Castle.
Collect the Memory of Remembrance
Having retrieved all six memories, the pillar at the center of the Dreamscape is fully energized. This triggers the creation of the Memory of Remembrance. The player should proceed to the center of the Dreamscape to obtain this memory. Unfortunately, they are interrupted by the appearance of the Forgotten from a portal. The Forgotten seizes the orb and disappears into the portal.
Following this, numerous shadowy rifts manifest in the skies and on homes in the Dreamlight Valley. Seek out the Fairy Godmother, who is positioned near the pillar in the Forgotten Lands. The Fairy Godmother mentions the Forgotten's destructive intentions and expresses the need to consult with Merlin for the next course of action.
This marks the conclusion of the quest "Miracles Take Time," with further progression unlocked by raising her Friendship.
