This article will guide players through the process of making Sour Snow Cones in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is the ideal meal for players that are planning to spend some time in Sunlit Plateau, it combines quite well with the biome's warm weather conditions.

How To Make Sour Snow Cones

Sour Snow Cones makes this three-star recipe sound much more complicated than it actually is. There are only three ingredients in the cooking recipe for Sour Snow Cones: slush ice, lemon, and sugarcane. Unfortunately, consuming this dish will only restore 1,257 energy, so there are definitely better recipes to look into if this is the main goal of cooking Sour Snow Cones.

This is one of the few recipes in the game that require the slush ice ingredient; in total, there are only 15 recipes that need slush ice in order to be made. Perhaps because it's one of the hardest ingredients to unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Get The Ingredients To Make Sour Snow Cones

The main ingredient in the Sour Snow Cones recipe is slush ice, of course. It's the ice that makes these cones cold and appealing under the hot sun. It's actually quite difficult to get access to slush ice at first, however.

To unlock slush ice, players have to reach Friendship level ten with Remy, and then complete The Unknown Flavor quest. To finish the quest, players will also have to get to the Frozen Heights biome so that they can collect Snowballs to help Remy come up with the recipe for slush ice. After this quest has been completed, he will sell this ingredient in his pantry for 150 Star Coins.

Thankfully, the other two required ingredients are much easier to obtain. Lemons grow on trees in the Forest of Valor biome and the Glade of Trust, this means that they're completely free - gamers only have to go up to the tree and harvest its fruit. Sugarcane can be acquired at Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach; it costs 29 Star Coins fully-grown and its seeds cost five Star Coins but take seven minutes to grow.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
