Those looking to create a single piece of Fabric are going to need to acquire five pieces of Cotton. Unfortunately, this crafting material is one that costs a significant amount for players. At the time of writing, Cotton can only be acquired through gardening, and its seeds can only be found in the Sunlit Plateau. This biome is located to the west of the Plaza and costs 7,000 of Disney Dreamlight Valley's Dreamlight currency to unlock. With the biome unlocked, players need to further purchase/repair Goofy's stand in this area. This will take an investment of 3,000 Star Coins and will open up the option to purchase Cotton Seeds.
Cotton seeds cost 42 Star Coins and require 25 minutes to grow. On top of this time requirement, players also need to water these crops three times in order to make sure they mature. Players can improve the yield by inviting one of Disney Dreamlight Valley's characters along that have a bonus in farming. Take five Cotton to a nearby crafting station, and players will find Fabric underneath the Refined Material section.
