The magical world of Disney Dreamlight Valley features over 20 characters from beloved Disney films including Toy Story, Frozen, and other classics. The player can live alongside these characters and interact with them in their day-to-day adventures in the valley. The player can give them gifts to raise their Friendship Level, which will unlock quests at specific levels. The Fairy Godmother offers multiple quests tied to the player’s Friendship with the character. This guide is to help players complete her quest “A Magical Moment” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Start the Quest “A Magical Moment” in Disney Dreamlight Valley
“A Magical Moment” is a quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley that becomes available upon reaching Friendship Level 10, the maximum, with The Fairy Godmother. It can take some time to reach this level of Friendship, but players can expedite the process by giving favorite gifts and serving meals in Remy’s restaurant, and by hanging out with them as a companion. Once the max level has been reached, players can speak with The Fairy Godmother to begin this quest.
How to Complete ”A Magical Moment” in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Fairy Godmother has been hard at work granting wishes for the residents of Dreamlight Valley, to such a great degree, that she is extremely exhausted. The player decides that Merlin can help out a fellow magician in need, and should head over to speak with him for advice. Here’s everything players need to do for the quest “A Magical Moment” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Assemble a Care Package for The Fairy Godmother
Merlin agrees that she has done so much for the village and decides that the residents should do something to show their appreciation. He suggests arranging a celebration within the village to show their appreciation. While he works out the logistics, he tasks the player with assembling a Care Package for The Fairy Godmother. To assemble the Care Package, the player needs to collect the following items:
- 1 Mint Chocolate - Cooked using Mint, Sugarcane, Butter, and Cocoa Beans.
- 1 Basket - Crafted using 6 Fiber and 1 Pink Hydrangea.
- 3 White Impatiens - Gathered in the Forgotten Lands.
The player also needs to speak with Ursula who will provide them with a Memento Memoria Potion needed to craft the finished Care Package. Once the player has collected all of these items, they should head to a crafting station to assemble the Care Package, which can be found in the Functional Items tab.
Once the player has crafted the Care Package, they should bring it to The Fairy Godmother. She is surprised and pleased, especially at a special invitation that has been tucked into the basket, inviting her to the celebration being held in her honor. The player should then return to Merlin, who needs their help with one last preparation for the big event.
Craft a Fairy Tale Gazebo
Merlin asks the player to assist in the creation of a beautiful Fairy Tale Gazebo where he can host the party. To craft the gazebo, the player needs to collect the following materials:
- 80 Dry Wood - Gathered in Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands.
- 30 Glass - Crafted using 5 Sand and 1 Coal Ore per piece, or gathered by extinguishing green fire in the Forgotten Lands.
- 10 Fabric - Crafted using 5 Cotton per piece, which is grown from seeds or purchased from by Goofy in Sunlit Plateau.
- 9 Yellow Daisies - Gathered in the Peaceful Meadow.
Once the player has collected this plethora of materials, they can visit any crafting station to assemble the gazebo, which can be found in the Furniture category.
Place the Fairy Tale Gazebo in the Dazzling Beach
Once the player has crafted the Fairy Tale Gazebo, they should head to the Dazzling Beach and place it anywhere they’d like. This gets the party started, and the player just needs to take a photo with the attendees to complete th quest. Once they’ve taken the photo, the party ends and The Fairy Godmother will give the player the Fairy Tale Gazebo furniture they crafted.
Return to the Forgotten Lands with The Fairy Godmother
After the party, the Fairy Godmother will offer a new quest to follow her back to the Forgotten Lands, where she’ll show the player her favorite place in the biome. Afterward, the player should follow her again as she leads them to the garden she revealed upon completion of the quest “Miracles Take Time,“ where a giant pumpkin has grown. With a bit of magic, she transforms the pumpkin into a Pumpkin Coach furniture item that she gives to the player. This completes the quest “A Magical Moment” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
