Table of contents

The second major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley added plenty of content into the game. The main focus was on Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, but there is also a new Star Path filled with festive decorations for the season. There are no new story quests in this update, but there will certainly be more before Early Access is over.

While all of that will certainly keep players busy, Gameloft also included a hidden series of quests that culminates in unlocking Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and bringing him to Dreamlight Valley. This guide will show players where to find these quests and how to unlock Stitch.

How to Find the Quests

In order to add Stitch to the roster of Disney characters that live in Dreamlight Valley, players will need to find three socks hidden in three separate biomes. The first sock is found in Dazzle Beach, the second sock is in the Peaceful Meadow, and the third sock is in the Forest of Valor.

While this may sound straightforward for Disney Dreamlight Valley players, the catch is that all three socks can't be found at once. After picking up one sock and completing the quest associated with it, players will have to wait five days for the next sock to spawn.

So even after getting the sock from Dazzle Beach, players will not be able to get the sock from the Peaceful Meadow until five days have passed in real time. The third sock will then spawn five days after that. All the socks can be found on the ground, so players will not need to use any tools to retrieve them.

How to Unlock Stitch

Once Disney Dreamlight Valley players have found the third and final sock, they will get a quest to determine the owner. Players will have the option to ask Mickey, Kristoff, and Merlin. In order to advance the quest, talk to Merlin. He says that the sock is indeed his, and then allows players to search his house for clues. Search through the five piles of junk scattered across the room.

Upon searching the last junk pile, a claw will appear on the ground that players can pick up. After finding the claw, speak with Donald, and he will put the claw into the mysterious device. With each quest, players found evidence that provided the device DNA to analyze. With the claw, the device finishes the analysis and can then be used a homing beacon to bring down the ship.

Go to Skull Rock

With the homing beacon, go down to Skull Rock located in Dazzle Beach near the water. Enter the furniture/decoration menu and place the homing beacon directly in front of Skull Rock. The homing beacon does not need to be put on Skull Rock, despite what the quest text says. Upon exiting the menu, a cutscene will play and Stitch's ship will crash-land on Dreamlight Valley.

Talk to Stitch

Understandably, Stitch is not happy about his ship crashing. After trying to explain the situation to Stitch, talk to Donald and then find a place to build Stitch a new home. While it won't replace his ship, it'll keep him from wreaking havoc on Dreamlight Valley. Pick out a spot somewhere in Dreamlight Valley and use the sign to bring Scrooge McDuck to the area.

In order to build Stitch a home, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to spend 10,000 Star Coins. While this isn't much compared to some other costs in the game, there are plenty of ways for players to earn Star Coins quickly if they don't have enough. Once the house is built, talk to Stitch and the quest will complete.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
