While playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will encounter many known Disney characters that used to live in the valley. Some of them, like Goofy, Merlin, and Mickey Mouse, will already be available as friends upon starting the game. Conversely, there are other characters like Moana, Remy, and Minnie that need a bit of work before they can be unlocked as friends.
Minnie Mouse is Mickey’s Sweetheart that suddenly disappeared because of the Forgetting in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Advancing in Mickey Mouse’s Friendship Quest will bring Saviors closer to rescuing Minnie Mouse from the limbo she’s stuck in. First, however, a couple of crucial steps must be carried out before triggering the Quest.
How To Save Minnie In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To save Minnie in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will need to complete the Memory Magnification Quest. It’s a Friendship Quest that’s triggered once Mickey Mouse reaches Friendship level eight.
How To Save Minnie
Upon reaching level eight with Mickey Mouse, the Memory Magnification Quest will be triggered in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Mickey tells the players to collect some materials to craft the Dreamlight Magnifier. These materials are:
- Emerald: This type of gem is usually found by mining rocks in the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust. Players should search for rocks that have green gems sticking out of them and make sure to bring a companion with a mining bonus.
- Hardwood: This material is found in multiple biomes like Forgotten Lands, Frosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, and Forest of Valor.
- Tinkering Parts: These craftable parts need Iron Ingots to be made. The Iron Ingots require Iron Ore and Coal Ore. Both can be collected from mining rocks in the Forest of Valor using the Pickaxe.
Once all materials are collected in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players should head to a Crafting Station and craft the Dreamlight Magnifier.
Next, players will need to talk to Mickey, who tells them to search for Minnie. Once she’s found in front of the wishing well in the Plaza, speaking with her will unlock Minnie’s house. Players will have to find an empty space and place the house down then interact with Scrooge’s sign to build it for 5,000 Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This last step will unlock Minnie as a friend in the valley.
How To Increase Mickey’s Friendship Level
To increase Mickey Mouse’s Friendship level in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players need to regularly hang out with the mouse and gift him items. Usually, every character that lives in Dreamlight Valley will have three favorite items that reset every day. Although gifting Mickey other items will increase his Friendship level, giving him special gifts will increase it even more.
Another great method for increasing Mickey's friendship level is hanging out with him. The mouse will gain Friendship EXP no matter what players do, be it Gardening, Fishing, Mining, or clearing Night Thorns. Even if Mickey’s role doesn’t match Savior’s actions, he will gain EXP nonetheless.
