There are many characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley that seem to have gone astray because of the Forgetting. It's a terrible curse that spread after the disappearance of the Ruler. Among these lost characters is the youngest daughter of King Triton, Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
Upon completing a certain quest for Goofy in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will stumble upon princess Ariel, who is stranded on a faraway island. Usually, Mermaids will always find their way home. Ariel, however, can't seem to swim back to the valley, as every time she does, the Mermaid ends up back where she started.
How To Save Ariel In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To save Ariel in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must complete Goofy's quest, The Mysterious Wreck. The moment Goofy fixes the destroyed raft, players should interact with it to set sail to a lone island in the distance. Ariel the Mermaid Will be there, looking lost.
Saviors will talk to her and ask her to return home, which she agrees to. However, no matter how many times the Mermaid tries, she'll end up back on the same island.
Here, Ariel asks for a home to be built for her in the valley so that she can return. At this point, players can use the same raft to go back to the Dreamlight Valley and place Ariel's castle in the waters. They'll then need to interact with Scrooge's sign and build it for 5,000 Star Coins. If players don't have the required amount of coins, it's not a problem. Ariel will be able to return the moment her castle is placed in the valley.
The Mysterious Wreck In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Upon unlocking the Dazzle Beach biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley, a paddle can be found in the sand near Goofy's Stall. Picking it up will trigger The Mysterious Wreck Quest. Goofy says that he will fix the destroyed raft, but only after Saviors gather the necessary materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Hardwood x 30
- Rope x7
- Clay x25
- Iron Ingots x10
Here's how players can find each item:
- Hardwood can be found on the ground near trees in the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust biomes. It can also be collected once players upgrade their Shovel in Disney Dreamlight Valley and remove the tree stumps scattered around in the forest.
- The Rope is made of Fiber and Fiber is made of Seaweed, therefore, players can fish for Seaweed in Dazzle Beach to craft the Rope.
- Clay is found in the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, or the Forgotten Lands. The first biome is the cheapest, as it only costs 5,000 Dreamlight. Saviors can use the shovel to dig a hole in the ground until Clay pops out. Hanging out with a companion that has a digging bonus will help.
- Iron Ingots require two materials to be crafted: Iron Ore and Coal Ore. Both can be found while mining. Iron Ore is gathered from the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands.
