Disney Dreamlight Valley’s summer-themed DreamSnaps Update introduces a new, photography-oriented game feature, DreamSnaps, and lets players welcome Vanellope Von Sweetz to the valley. Fans of Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph should be quite familiar with Sugar Rush, the candy-themed racing game where the eponymous Wreck-It Ralph and his sassy sidekick Vanellope Von Sweetzs get up to some hijinks in the sugary sweet candy world.
Players of Disney Dreamlight Valley can now invite this spunky little racer to the valley and for one of her quests, they are tasked with assembling her iconic racing kart. The cart, like nearly everything else in Sugar Rush, is made from candy, so players will need to collect cooking materials to construct her sugary speedster. Here’s how to make each of the parts of Vanellope’s Sugar Kart in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Craft Vanellope’s Sugar Kart
Vanellope’s Sugar Kart is required for Vanellope's Level 4 Friendship quest, "Extreme Biome Makeover." It can be crafted at a cooking station, not a crafting station, once the player has collected the necessary materials. It is important to note that the player will need to craft four wheels but only one each of the other items. Unfortunately, the player will not yet receive a Sugar Kart of their own; that is locked behind Vanellope's maximum Friendship Level quest.
How to Make Sugar Kart Seat
To make the Sugar Kart Seat, the player needs to collect the following items:
- 1 Sugar Rush Seat Fudge
- 1 Wheat
- 1 Milk
- 1 Butter
How to Make Sugar Kart Tail
To make the Sugar Kart Tail, the player needs to collect the following items:
- 1 Sugar Rush Tail Fudge
- 1 Wheat
- 1 Sugarcane
- 1 Butter
How to Make Sugar Kart Wheel
To make the Sugar Kart Wheel, the player needs to collect the following items:
- 4 Sugar Wheel Fudge
- 4 Wheat
- 4 Sugarcane
- 4 Egg
Upon crafting turning in these quest items, Vanellope tells the player that she needs additional parts to get the kart up and running again. The player should head to WALL-E's house and collect the sparkling batteries and circuitboards found on the floor inside. Finally, the player needs to locate and speak with Remy, who will provide the glue Vanellope needs to stick all the parts together.
Once the player has collected the necessary items, they should hand them over to Vanellope, completing the quest, "Extreme Biome Makeover" in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get the Ingredients for Vanellope’s Sugar Kart
Aside from the Sugar Rush Fudge ingredients, which are provided by Vanellope herself, the player will have to collect the cooking ingredients used to craft ther car themselves. Thankfully, they are all very easy to obtain, though the player may need to wait for some ingredients to grow.
How to Get Wheat
Wheat is grown from Wheat Seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall located in the Peaceful Meadow. He may also have fully grown stalks of wheat available for purchase in limited quantities.
How to get Butter, Milk, and Eggs
The cooking ingredients Butter, Milk, and Eggs are all unlocked upon completing Remy’s quest and unlocking his restaurant, Chez Remy. Players can enter the restaurant where they will find a shelf full of ingredients available for sale in the back of his kitchen, including these three ingredients the player needs for Vanellope’s quest.
How to get Sugarcane
Sugarcane is grown from Sugarcane Seeds purchased from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach, or can be purchased fully grown from the stall when he has available stock. Players may want to grow extra of this sweet ingredient to stock up for crafting candy-themed decor to enhance the surroundings of Vanellope's house.
How to get Electronic Chips and Spare Batteries
The electronic scrap parts Vanellope requests for her vehicle's motor can be collected in WALL-E's house. The player does not need to speak with him nor does he have to be home, they just need to head inside and can collect the items off the floor.
How to Get Glue (Super Sticky Frosting)
The glue Vanellope needs is actual a sticky concoction of the rat chef Remy, who will share some hilarious anecdotes about his experience with the stuff before providing a tube of the glue needed to assemble the car.
