Tilapia is the star of the show for the Pan-Seared Tilapia and Vegetables recipe. Although fishing mechanics in Disney Dreamlight Valley are pretty straightforward, catching Tilapia can be a bit time-consuming, especially for beginners, as they’ll need to unlock a biome and get a royal tool first.

Tilapia is native to Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. However, players must unlock these biomes first if they’ve never been there before. To unlock Frosted Heights, players will have to spend 10,000 Dreamlight, whereas, for Sunlit Plateau, the cost is 7,000 Dreamlight, so players will need to keep their Dreamlight stocked up if they want to catch Tilapia.

After unlocking these aforementioned biomes, Dreamers can head to a water body and catch Tilapia with a fishing rod. Players should aim for blue ripples as they indicate points where Tilapia spawn.

Next, players will need to get two vegetables. Since Pan-Seared Tilapia & Vegetables is not a picky dish, players can use any vegetables they like. Some options include Eggplants, Zucchini, Carrots, and Onions, all of which can be purchased at Goofy’s Stalls. After collecting all the ingredients, players can go to a nearby cooking station and start cooking.

When consumed, Pan-Seared Tilapia and Vegetables can grant 2,411 energy, which is great for a three-star recipe. Alternatively, players can also sell it for 943 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stalls or share it with other residents of the valley to gain friendship points.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
