Disney Dreamlight Valley’s A Rift in Time expansion introduces a wide variety of new materials for players to discover on Eternity Isle. Players can uncover special crafting materials using the Royal Hourglass, a new tool with a special treasure-finding power. Players will also utilize each of their base Royal Tools, imbuing them with new power to remove obstacles as they explore the Isle.
As players explore Eternity Isle's three expansive biomes, they will discover a plethora of new cooking ingredients. A Rift in Time expands the player’s already massive cookbook by adding over 150 new recipes for players to discover and prepare for themselves and their Disney friends. Milky Way Stew is one of these new dishes, a four-star entrée that is as visually appealing as it is delicious. Here’s how players can prepare this new meal in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time.
How to Make Milky Way Stew
Milky Way Stew is a colorful new entrée that players can prepare using one of Eternity Isle’s new fruits, Cosmic Fig. Like all recipes added in A Rift in Time, this dish can be prepared only by players who have purchased the expansion. To craft a bowl of this galactic goodness, use the following ingredients:
- Rainbow Trout
- Turnip
- Milk
- Cosmic Fig
Milky Way Stew restores 1872 energy and can be sold at any of Goofy’s Stalls for 733 Star Coins. Players may also prefer to put this delicious dish on display, as it would fit in great with the game’s many space- themed decorations. To display a prepared meal, drop the meal on the ground, then enter Furniture mode to arrange its placement.
How to Get Ingredients for Milky Way Stew
The Milky Way Stew gets its galactic glow from the use of Cosmic Fig, a new fruit added in A Rift in Time. Unlike most of the game’s fruits, the Cosmic Fig is not found naturally growing on trees or bushes on Eternity Isle. Instead, players must grow these delicious new delicacies from scratch using seeds purchased on Eternity Isle.
Where to Get Cosmic Fig
Cosmic Figs are a new Fruit ingredient exclusive to A Rift in Time. These star-studded goodies are grown from Cosmic Fig Seeds that can be purchased at Goofy’s Stall in Ancient’s Landing for 10 Star Coins per bag. Each bag of Seeds will yield 2 Cosmic Figs; more if players harvest while accompanied by a Gardening companion. Goofy’s Stall must be fully upgraded before he sells Cosmic Fig Seeds.
Where to Get Turnip
Turnips are another expansion-exclusive addition which can be grown from seeds. Players can purchase Turnip Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Wild Tangle biome after it has been upgraded at least one time. Turnip Seeds cost 100 Star Coins, and each plant will yield 2 Turnips.
Where to Get Rainbow Trout
Rainbow Trout is a common fish that can be caught in multiple biomes. In the Valley, players can catch Rainbow Trout in the white pools found in the waters of the Peaceful Meadow and Forest of Valor. This fish can also be found on Eternity Isle, where it can be caught in white pools found in the waters of The Oasis area of the Glittering Dunes biome.
Where to Get Milk
Milk is one of six ingredients available at Remy’s Pantry, the store in the back of Chez Remy. Players can visit the restaurant to buy as much Milk as they need for 230 Star Coins a carton.
