Cooking in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a mechanic that has been around since the game was released in Early Access and has been greatly expanded upon since then. Players have access to a large variety of recipes, and these recipes vary in how many ingredients it takes to make them. Beyond ingredients, each recipe has a different star rating along with how much energy is restored if players eat the meal themselves.

Five-star meals like Lancetfish Paella are more complex as it requires a lot of ingredients to make it. So here is how players can make Lancetfish Paella for themselves or for their Disney friends.

As mentioned above, Lancetfish Paella is a five-star recipe that requires five ingredients to make it. The five ingredients that make Lancetfish Paella are one Lancetfish, one Shrimp, one Seafood (shellfish), one Tomato, and one Rice. Since the third ingredient can be any ingredient that Disney Dreamlight Valley classifies as Seafood, that means that players can use a Shrimp, Lobster, Crab, Scallop, Clam, or Oyster, and they will be able to make Lancetfish Paella.

Where to Find the Ingredients

The first ingredient that players will need to track down is, as the name of the recipe implies, Lancetfish. Lancetfish can only be found in the Forgotten Lands, specifically fished from blue circles in the water. If players are having a hard time catching Lancetfish or getting blue circles to appear in the Forgotten Lands, they do have the option of getting this fish from Moana's Boat. Shrimps can be caught in a similar manner or by fishing from blue circles at Dazzle Beach.

Tomatoes can be bought from Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach or grown by players themselves. Finally, Rice can also be purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust or grown by players.

How Much Energy Does Lancetfish Paella Restore?

Being a five-star recipe, Lancetfish Paella restores a large amount of energy. Depending on what Seafood is used for the third ingredient, the energy restored will vary. That said, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can expect to receive 4,550 energy at the minimum. While there are five-star recipes that restore more energy than Lancetfish Paella, it is a good option for if players need to restore a large amount of energy quickly.

Beyond eating Lancetfish Paella to restore energy, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can also make this delicious looking meal and give it to one of the many Disney characters that live in the village. Alternatively, there is always the chance that Lancetfish Paella will show up as an order at Remy's Restaurant. Lancetfish Paella can also be sold for Star Coins, but since there are better methods of farming Star Coins, players will want to hold off on that and just use Lancetfish Paella for restoring energy.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
