For many Disney fans, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a dream come true. In this Disney themed life sim, players can manage a village where a wide assortment of Disney characters (both good and evil) live with more being added with every update. Aside from endless customization options, players are able to engage in a variety of activities that serve as a core for this game.

One of the big mechanics of Disney Dreamlight Valley is cooking. Players can gather ingredients and use them to make a wide variety of meals. One example of a recipe is for an entree called Fish Risotto, and here is how players can make it.

How to Make Fish Risotto

Fish Risotto is a three-star recipe. In order for Disney Dreamlight Valley players to make it, they will need three ingredients. Those ingredients are one fish, one Rice, and one Butter. Rice is a crop that can be either grown by players from seeds or purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust. Since it is cheaper to just purchase seeds, it is recommended that players purchase Rice as seeds and grow it themselves. Once it is time to harvest, make sure to bring along a companion with the gardening role to potentially double the amount of rice that is harvested.

Butter can only be purchased from Remy's restaurant. In order to have this option, players must first complete the quest to bring Remy back to the village. This involves making a series of dishes, including the iconic ratatouille. Once Remy's restaurant is restored, players can purchase ingredients like Butter from him for 190 Star Coins.

The final and most important ingredient for making Fish Risotto is the fish. Since the recipe isn't specific about what fish can be used, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can use almost any fish that they can catch. The only exception to this, however, is that anything classified as Seafood cannot be used in this recipe. So if players try to use Shrimp, Crabs, Oysters, Clams, or Scallops, they will end up making a different recipe all together.

How Much Energy Does Fish Risotto Restore?

Due to the versatility of the recipe, Fish Risotto restores a differing amount of Energy. While the base amount of Energy restored is 939, the actual amount will vary based on what fish was used. For example, using a more common fish like Herring results in Fish Risotto restoring 1,119 Energy. On the other hand, using a more rare fish like Lancetfish will result in Fish Risotto that restores 3,009 Energy instead.

Beyond restoring energy, Fish Risotto can also occasionally show up as a daily favorite item for one of the many Disney characters that live in the village. It can also show up as an order at Remy's restaurant.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
