One of the main mechanics of Disney Dreamlight Valley is cooking and baking a wide variety of recipes. These recipes vary in complexity, star rating, the amount of energy restored, and how many ingredients it takes to make them. Whether it is for a quest, fulfilling an order at Remy's Restaurant, or eating it to restore energy, every recipe has its use.

There is even a Birthday Cake that Disney Dreamlight Valley players can make. While the Birthday Cake can't be customized, it is one of many desserts that can be made. Here is how players can make Birthday Cake.

How to Make Birthday Cake

Birthday Cake is a five-star recipe that can be made with five ingredients. The five ingredients needed to make Birthday Cake in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one Cocoa Bean, one Wheat, one Sugarcane, one Egg, and one Butter. Birthday Cake restores 2,310 Energy and can only be crafted with the five ingredients listed above. While some recipes can have ingredients substituted with similar ingredients, that is not the case for Birthday Cake.

Of the five ingredients, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to gather Cocoa Beans from the Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust. The Wheat and Sugarcane will need to be purchased or grown by players. Since both Sugarcane and Wheat do not take long to grow, it is recommended that Disney Dreamlight Valley players simply grow the crops themselves and save their Star Coins for other purchases.

Finally, Butter and Eggs can be purchased from Remy at his restaurant, provided that players have completed the quest to bring him to Dreamlight Valley. The ingredients that Remy sells are fairly cheap, and Disney Dreamlight Valley players will not need to spend more than a few hundred Star Coins to get the last few ingredients they need in order to make some Birthday Cake.

Other Uses For Birthday Cake

While Birthday Cake has a chance of being an order at Remy's restaurant or a daily favorite item for one of the many Disney characters in the game, there is a quest that requires players to make Birthday Cake. For Anna's Level 10 Friendship Quest, "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?", Anna asks Disney Dreamlight Valley players to make a Birthday Cake to help cheer up Elsa. While it isn't Elsa's birthday, Anna believes that a cake will help bring a smile to her sister's face. The other item needed for this quest is the Picture Book inside of Anna's house.

Beyond this quest, there aren't any others in the game currently that require players to make a Birthday Cake. Since Disney Dreamlight Valley is in Early Access still, it is entirely possible that there will be future quests that require players to make Birthday Cake.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
