The Beast’s Greenhouse is a new structure added in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Enchanted Adventure Update that grows a variety of flowers, including the rare Red Roses. After finishing a specific friendship quest with The Beast, who is a recent addition to Dreamlight Valley alongside Belle, the Greenhouse becomes available for the player to place in the Village.

Upgrading the Greenhouse increases its flower-holding capacity and also reduces the time it takes for a flower to grow. While Red Roses don't currently have crafting uses, they can be used for outdoor decorations or saved for future crafting opportunities. Here’s everything players need to know to start growing beautiful Red Roses in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Unlocking The Beast's Greenhouse

The Beast's Greenhouse unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Beast’s Greenhouse is unlocked after completing the quest "A Gift in Crimson." This is The Beast’s final friendship quest, and it becomes available after reaching Friendship Level 10. Complete the previous quest, "The Crown or the Claw," to open up "A Gift in Crimson."

In the quest “A Gift in Crimson,” The Beast expresses his desire to share Red Roses with the residents of Dreamlight Valley. To complete "A Gift in Crimson," the player gathers specific materials to fulfill The Beast’s request, including materials to construct the Greenhouse.

After this, the player can place the crafted Beast’s Greenhouse anywhere in the village. Next, visit the Beauty and the Beast Realm to water and collect roses from the castle garden. Distribute the collected roses to Mirabel, Mother Gothel, and WALL-E. Finally, hand over the "most beautiful rose" to Belle.

Upon quest completion, The Beast’s Greenhouse is permanently unlocked. The Beast will tend to the plants in the greenhouse and grow an array of flowers, including the elusive Red Roses. The player can collect these flowers by stopping by the Greenhouse at any time, similar to how Moana’s Boat allows players to regularly collect fish that she has caught.

Upgrading The Beast's Greenhouse And Benefits

Upgrading the Beast's Greenhouse in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Beast’s Greenhouse starts at Level 2 and holds a maximum of 4 flowers. At this level, a random flower will spawn every 20 minutes. When the Greenhouse reaches Level 10, the maximum number of flowers it can hold is 20 flowers, and a new flower appears every 6 minutes.

The player can upgrade the Greenhouse by purchasing upgrades from Scrooge McDuck after interacting with the nearby construction signpost. Each upgrade increases the Greenhouse's capacity by 2 additional flower slots. Upgrades also reduce the growth time for each flower, allowing more frequent collection. Most crucially, as the Greenhouse levels up, the probability of Red Roses appearing increases.

What Are Red Roses Used For?

Collecting flowers from Beast's Greenhouse in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Currently, Red Roses don't have any crafting applications. The current best course of action is to either place them outdoors for decoration or store them for later use. While Red Roses can be sold at Goofy’s Stall, they fetch only a nominal amount of Star Coins. Therefore, players should consider keeping them until new crafting recipes become available.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
