The valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley is filled with many kinds of flowers scattered across all the biomes. The sheer variety flowers are only matched by all the various colors they come in. As a result, it can be difficult for Disney Dreamlight Valley players to find certain flowers if they are not familiar with them, especially flowers like hydrangeas.
Though they may seem like optional decorations, hydrangeas are used in many parts of the game. This guide will help Disney Dreamlight Valley players learn where they can find hydrangeas along with what they are used for.
How To Get Hydrangeas
Hydrangeas can be found only in the Dazzle Beach biome, which is also where players can get coconuts. Though it may seem odd to see these flowers blooming in the middle of the beach, that is where they can be found. There are four different colors of hydrangeas that spawn: blue, pink, white & red, and purple. The real trick for Disney Dreamlight Valley players is telling the difference between purple and pink, as they look very similar in color.
What Are Hydrangeas Used For?
One use that Disney Dreamlight Valley players would expect of flowers is being able to place them anywhere in their house or the Village to decorate with. But surprisingly, Hydrangeas can also be used for crafting a variety of recipes. Though it may sound like an odd crafting recipe, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can make flower beds and flower pots that contain hydrangeas. If players need more flowers for crafting, it's not a bad idea to bring along a companion to get some extra flowers.
One example of a crafting recipe would be the Hydrangea and Bell Flower Pot, which requires one Flower Pot, one Blue Hydrangea, and two Purple Bell Flowers. Another good outdoor decoration that uses hydrangeas is the Purple, Pink and Yellow Flower Disk. This small bed of flowers is crafted with one Round Soil Area, two Pink Hydrangeas, two Purple Bell Flowers, and one Yellow Daisy.
Hydrangeas can also be used for crafting baskets that are part of a Friendship Quest that players get soon after Moana joins the Village. This basket requires six Fiber and one Pink Hydrangea. Players should note that this recipe only works with a Pink Hydrangea, and any other version of the flower will not work when trying to craft the basket.
The basket is not technically a quest item, so after completing the quest, players can keep on crafting them and using them as a decoration. So however they may want to use it, Disney Dreamlight Valley players have many ways to show off hydrangeas in the Valley.
