Dark magic called the Forgetting has taken over in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and only players have the power to stop it and save the valley's inhabitants. Players can garden, harvest goods, mine for gems, and craft useful furniture and potions for their valley as they become friends with the Disney characters who call it home. One item that players may need for story quests or personal use is Glass.

Glass is commonly used in crafting recipes for furniture, decoration, and more. While some materials can be picked up around the valley's Biomes, Glass must be crafted or bought. This guide covers how to get Glass and where to use it in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Glass in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley

One way to get Glass is to make it at a crafting station using the necessary materials. Two crafting stations are already in the valley: one in Scrooge's store and one outside Goofy's house. Glass is made from five Sand and one Coal Ore.

Sand can be farmed on Dazzle Beach. Dazzle Beach is one of the Biomes hidden behind giant night thorns. The night thorns can be cleared away by spending 1,000 Dreamlight. Players can use their Royal Shovel to dig up clumps of Sand, but there is a chance they will find coins instead.

Another way to get Sand in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to break apart the giant clumps of sea debris scattered around the beaches. Each blue rock breaks into three to five clumps of Sand, depending on its size. Before they can do this, players must upgrade their Royal Pickaxe by completing Maui's Tale of Stone and Fire friendship quest.

Lastly, players can purchase Sand and Glass from Kristoff's Stall after they complete all of his Friendship quests. Sand is available after the stall is first built during the Mountain Man's Stall quest, but players must upgrade Kristoff's Stall by doing the Broken Sled quest to add Glass to his stock.

The Broken Sled quest is available once players reach Friendship level 10 with Kristoff. The quickest ways to increase Friendship are by gifting villagers their favorite gifts, hanging out with them while completing daily activities, and serving them in Remy's Restaurant.

Glass is used to craft furniture, decorations, and other valuable items. Players will also need it to complete some Friendship quests throughout the game, so stockpiling it is a good idea. Glass can be bought for 50 Star Coins and is worth the same amount if sold.
