Completing Dreamlight Duties is the simplest and easiest way to earn Dreamlight in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These are simple tasks that, upon completion, reward players with Dreamlight. Six such tasks are available at any given time, and they are reset every day.

These objectives are usually pretty simple, like catching a fish in a certain biome or bringing a character their favorite gift. They are divided into eight categories: Foraging, Gardening, Fishing, Cooking, Friendship, Collection, Village, and Mining. These are relatively more challenging tasks with bigger goals to achieve, and players can see their progress in the bar under the mission.

Upon completing a Dreamlight Duty, players will receive a notification, and they can go to the Dreamlight Menu to acquire Dreamlight. The reward keeps growing as players complete tasks, so make sure to complete all Dreamlight Duties to earn Dreamlight quickly and easily.

Another way of acquiring Dreamlight in Disney Dreamlight Valley is to craft it. For this purpose, players will need 10 Dream Shards, which can be obtained by digging using the shovel tool. Alternatively, players can get Dream Shards by removing Giant Night Thorns. These thorns can be found in all biomes in the valley. Players can also feed critters to obtain these shards. With enough Dream Shards in hand, visit a crafting station and make Dreamlight.
