Disney Dreamlight Valley has a ton of different gems that players find while mining. Sometimes, it is hard to know if players have collected them all. One of the most important and rare gems is diamonds. They are sold for the most money next to Rubies. This is a fantastic way for players to make Star Coins and save them up fast.

Diamonds can only be mined from one single biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unfortunately, they don't have much of a purpose in the game other than fulfilling a single quest, so selling them is beneficial for players to earn up Star Coins.

How To Get Diamonds

Each gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be mined from different biomes, some being rarer than others. Most of the gems in the game have a Shiny variant, and Diamonds are no exception. The Forgotten Lands is the only biome in which Diamonds can be mined. Players will have to mine quite a bit before getting diamonds as these are the rarest gem in the game.

To ensure players have the best luck while searching for diamonds, bring along their mining buddy. Not only will it help players gain more XP and help up their friendship with that character, but it will give players the chance to mine two diamonds instead of just one. The player's selected NPC companion can go up and mine one after the player had just mined a diamond, or whichever gem it happened to be.

How To Use Diamonds

Diamonds don't have many uses in Disney Dreamlight Valley. However, they can be used in order to complete one of Scrooge McDuck's quests, Economy 101. This quest will require players to sell 7 gems at one of Goofy's Stalls. Each diamond sells for 600 Star Coins, which can add up quickly when players sell a bunch.

Selling gems is one of the fastest ways to make money in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but some gems need to be saved for future quests as well. Diamonds aren't used for any crafting recipes, so the best use is to sell them and get some extra Star Coins to put towards an in-game purchase.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is in early access now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
