Disney Dreamlight Valley has a ton of ingredients that are used to make meals to restore a certain amount of Energy. Each dish needs specific ingredients and each one can be found in certain areas throughout the eight biomes of Dreamlight Valley.
Usually, players can enter the Collection Menu and click on the Ingredients category to find out the location of the necessary materials. However, Coconut doesn’t have a location, only its price is listed in the category. That's because Saviors must complete a special quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley that involves a certain Demigod to unlock Coconut Trees.
How To Get Coconut In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To get Coconut in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must complete Maui’s Friendship Quest, Burying the Eel. First though, a series of steps need to be completed.
How To Get Coconut
The first step after getting the Burying the Eel Quest is to talk to Goofy who requires the following Disney Dreamlight Valley materials:
- Worms x3
- Softwood x8
Worms are buried near the ponds in Peaceful Meadow, while Softwood is collected from the ground in The Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor. Once all materials are collected, players can go craft an Eel trap.
After that, they should head to the dock near Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach and place the trap in the water. Then, they can use the Fishing Rod in Disney Dreamlight Valley to catch an Eel and give it to Maui. The next step involves using the Shovel to make a dirt patch in the Sand and planting the Eel. Players will then need to stay near the plant since it requires watering multiple times.
After a while, a Coconut Tree will sprout and players can collect some Coconuts and give them to Maui. This marks the end of the Quest and makes it possible for Coconut Trees to grow regularly on the beach.
How To Get The Burying The Eel Quest
There are two conditions to get the Burying Eel Quest: Maui must be Friendship level two and Dazzle Beach needs to be accessible.
Upon unlocking Maui as a friend in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can achieve Friendship level two by hanging out, having daily conversations, or giving him his favorite items of the day. As for Dazzle Beach, the biome requires 1,000 Dreamlight to unlock. When Maui reaches level two, the Burying the Eel Quest will be triggered.
How To Save Maui
In Dreamlight Castle, players are given a choice to visit one of three realms for a certain amount of Dreamlight. Choosing the one that has a Demigod will lead to Moana’s realm. Once all of Moana’s quests are done, she can be brought to the valley, causing Maui to become sad about being abandoned.
Now, players should return to the realm and talk with Maui to start the A Feast Worthy of a Demigod quest. Saviors need to prepare three meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley that are 3-Stars or more and give them to Maui. The Demigod will be pleased and agrees to join the player.
