How to Complete The Ones That Got Away Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Talk to Goofy
The Ones That Got Away quest is more like a fishing expedition. Players can undertake this quest once they complete the Give Me a Sign quest for Goofy.
Find Goofy and talk to him to start the quest. During the conversation, he'll reveal that he has been unable to catch some of the fish in Eternity Isle and task you with catching the following fish:
- 2 x Dunebopper
- 2 x Robot Fish
- 2 x Prisma Shrimp.
Catch the Required Fish
Dunebopper is a rare fish found in The Oasis region of Glittering Dunes. Once there, head to a sand pool and start fishing in the blue ripples with your fishing rod.
Now for the Robot Fish, make your way to The Overlook or The Docks region of Ancient's Landing. Take out your fishing rod and aim at orange spots in the water.
Next comes the Prisma Shrimp, which can be found swimming in The Grove area in Wild Tangle. Spend 4,000 Mist to unlock The Grove and cast your line in orange bubbles in the water body. It’s a bit rarer than other fish, so catching it can be a little time-consuming.
With all six fish in your inventory, head back to Goofy and give him the fish you collected. He will thank you for your help and ask you to prepare him a dish of your choice using these newly caught fish. Some meal options included Grilled Fish, Nuts and Bolts, Sand Stew, Best Fish Forever, and Blend of the Bayou. Once the meal is ready, return to Goofy and present it to Goofy. Have one last conversation with him to complete The Ones That Got Away quest.
