How to Catch Catfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Peaceful Meadow is the only biome where you can find Catfish, so head over there with your fishing rod. It’s the starting area of the base game, so you won’t have to unlock this biome. Once there, look for spots with orange ripples, as Catfish is rare and can only be caught in those areas. Players who don’t have the fishing rod will have to complete an early-game mission called The Royal Tools to obtain it.

Once orange ripples appear and you are ready to fish, throw your line into the middle of the circle. As mentioned above, Catfish is one of the rarest fishes in the game, so it may take some time to spawn. If you don’t see these ripples at first, you can throw your line into other ripples to catch other fishes and wait for orange ripples to appear.

While fishing for Catfish, you should keep an eye on your energy bar because fishing can quickly reduce your energy. If you are running low on energy, you can eat raw ingredients or cooked meals to regain energy.
