Disney Dreamlight Valley is a cozy adventure where players can enjoy hanging out with infamous Disney characters and restoring their village to the magical kingdom it once was. The gameplay features gardening, harvesting fruits and herbs, mining for gems, and fishing to complete the storylines.
Certain collectible items and fish are rarer than others or have specific conditions to find them. For example, the Fugu Fish is a unique fish found in one of the Biomes within the village. Unlike other common fish, the Fugu Fish can only be found at certain times and can be challenging for players to obtain otherwise. So, this guide tells players how to catch the Fugu Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find a Fugu Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The Fugu Fish is an ocean puffer fish that only appears during rain or bad weather. Unfortunately, the weather system in Dreamlight Valley is entirely random, so players will have to hop on the opportunity when it appears. Fugu Fish spawn in the orange bubble circles on Dazzle Beach. Dazzle Beach is one of the Biomes players can access south of the Peaceful Meadow by spending 1,000 Dreamlight to clear away the gain night thorns.
A bridge separates two sides of the beach, but Fugu Fish is found on either as long as it rains. Players can fish alone or while hanging out with other villagers for a chance to catch more than one fish at a time. Of course, other rare fish will also appear, so it may take a few tries before players pull one up. The bubble circles will reset and spawn new fish every few minutes, so players have more than one chance to reel in a Fugu Fish.
What to Use a Fugu Fish for in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Fugu Fish is worth 900 coins and gives players 1,700 energy if eaten raw. Some villagers may also have it as one of their favorite daily gifts or request a meal at Rémy's Restaurant. Because of its rare appearance, players should try collecting this fish every time it rains to have a bunch on hand. But, of course, since rain is a random occurrence, the only way to force the weather is if players change their in-game clock, but even that doesn't guarantee it will rain. So, having luck and patience is the best bet for catching the Fugu Fish.
