After moving to the valley, the Mermaid can only swim in the water and all interactions with her are very limited, where Saviors must wait for her to approach the land to strike up a conversation.
Luckily, Prince Eric has a solution for this problem in his Friendship Quest, Part of His World. It requires preparing a peculiar bait in Disney Dreamlight Valley with the help of Remy after catching a rare fish.
How To Make Ariel Human In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Ariel human in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must finish Part of His World Quest and gift her the Nautilus Pendant. There are various steps required to complete the Quest; craft a Shapeshifting Enchantment, cook a Nautilus bait, and create a Nautilus Pendant.
How To Craft A Shapeshifting Enchantment
Upon speaking with Maui, players will realize that a few items are needed to craft the Shapeshifting Enchantment. These Disney Dreamlight Valley materials Are:
- White Impatiens x5: Scattered around the Forgotten Lands.
- Purified Night Shards x5: Use any Crafting Station to create Purified Night Shards.
- Empty Vial x1: Use Sand to craft three Glasses then use them to make an Empty Vial.
Players need to collect 25 Night Shards and five Dream Shards to craft the requested amount of Purified Night Shards.
How To Cook A Nautilus Bait
Nautilus are very rare types of fish that can only be attracted by a certain bait. Saviors will seek the help of the Little Chef, Remy, who requests a couple of Ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley to create the bait.
- Garlic x4: Found in the Forest of Valor.
- Onion x4: Can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor.
- Lancetfish x1: Caught in Forgotten Lands.
- Crab x1: Caught in Frosted Heights.
Both the Lancetfish and the Crab can be caught from the blue sparkling ripple. Once all ingredients are ready, head back to Remy, and he’ll whip up the Nautilus Bait.
How To Get The Nautilus Pendant
Use the Nautilus Bait in the Inventory and apply it on the Fishing Rod in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Next, head to Dazzle Beach where the river and beach meet. To get there, teleport to the Magical Well in Peaceful Meadow and head down the main stairs that lead to Dazzle Beach. Go left where there’s a bridge and fish the Nautilus from the red sparkling ripple.
Return to Prince Eric and give him the Shapeshifting Enhancement and the Nautilus, so he can make the Nautilus Pendant. Finally, talk to Ariel and give her the necklace, so she can become human. Sadly, it will remain impossible to hang out with her, but talking with her will be much easier.
