Bricks are an interesting item in Disney Dreamlight Valley, as players will most likely end up never using them because they need so many that they'll end up feeling sick at just the thought of Bricks. This is a Refined Material like Fabric, meaning it must be crafted from other materials and its only purpose is to be used in crafting recipes. At the moment, Bricks are only used in two different recipes, but if players decide to use either of these recipes when decorating their valley, they are going to need a lot of Bricks to get the job done.

The recipe for crafting Bricks is simple, but the ingredients needed can be time-consuming to gather. There are a ton of different materials and crafting recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, so it can be helpful to have a refresher on what items are needed to make Brick and where to find them.

Dreamlight Valley - How to Get Bricks

There are two main ways to acquire Bricks in DisneyDreamlight Valley. The first is by crafting them, which can be done by following this recipe:

  • 5 Clay - Clay can be found by digging in the Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, and the Forgotten lands.
  • 1 Coal Ore - Obtained by mining rock spots and occasionally from clearing out Night Thorns.

Each set of five Clay and one Coal produces one Brick. Alternatively, players can also occasionally find Bricks offered at Kristoff's stall. If Bricks happen to appear in his stall, there is a purchase limit of 10 Bricks per day, and each Brick sells for 130 Star Coins.

Bricks are only used in two recipes, Iron Spike and Brick Fence and Metal Spike Fence. The issue is that players will rarely ever need to craft just one fence if they are using fencing to decorate their valley. These recipes require three and two Bricks respectively, which means that each fence requires 10 to 15 Clay and two to three Coal Ore. It's easy to see how gathering all that clay could be time-consuming.

Before players get flashbacks to having to gather Clay for Minnie's Clocktower, it's worth noting that Clay can also be purchased from Kristoff's stall on some days. He will sell stacks of 20 Clay for 20 Star Coins per piece. It's definitely worth buying both Bricks and Coal at Kristoff's stall whenever they are available, as it never hurts to stock up on these materials.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
