In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players have a multitude of activities to keep them engaged within its charming Disney-inspired world. Beautifying the village is one option, with a wide array of furniture and outdoor decor available. Players can also focus on forming friendships with the residents through various activities. Cozy pastimes, like fishing and farming, offer additional ways for players to enjoy time in the village.
Completing quests is another main activity in Disney Dreamlight Valley, with many quest series unlocked as players better get to know the residents of the Valley. While quests are one-time completion activities, the game also offers a variety of rotating and cumulative Dreamlight Duties that recognize players' progress, rewarding them with Dreamlight, a currency used for unlocking biomes and certain crafting recipes.
How Do Seasonal Dreamlight Duties Work
There are a handful of one-time completion seasonal Dreamlight Duties from which players can earn exclusive rewards by completing. Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Halloween event features five themed Dreamlight Duties that players can complete to earn spooky furniture for their home or the Village.
Here’s how players can complete the Dreamlight Duty “Stockpiling Pumpkins” and earn the Pumpkin Stack furniture in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete “Stockpiling Pumpkins”
Unsurprisingly, the Dreamlight Duty “Stockpiling Pumpkins” requires the player to do exactly that. The player needs to harvest 100 Pumpkins to complete this Dreamlight Duty. While this Dreamlight Duty is relatively simple, it does have some prerequisites that must be met before the player can complete it.
Before they can start gathering gourds, the player needs to have unlocked the Forgotten Lands biome. This biome requires the player to spend 15,000 Dreamlight, the currency earned from completing Dreamlight Duties. The player will also need to have unlocked the Sunlit Plateau to gain access to the Forgotten Lands, which requires 7,000 Dreamlight. Finally, the player will need to repair Goofy’s Stall in the Forgotten Lands, which will set them back 4,000 Star Coins.
Once Goofy’s Stall in Forgotten Lands has been unlocked, the player will be able to purchase Pumpkin Seeds at a cost of 275 Star Coins per packet. Each packet of seeds will yield one Pumpkin when harvested. Pumpkins take 4 hours to grow and must be watered twice. While the player is free to plant the seeds in any biome, they can speed the growth process up by planting the Pumpkins within the Forgotten Lands biome, causing them to grow 10% faster.
Alternatively, the player can use a Miracle Growth Elixir or Even More Miraculous Growth. These elixirs have a limited number of uses and will cause crops to grow instantly when watered. Of course, it’s easiest to just wait for the Pumpkins to grow naturally, as the player can complete this Dreamlight Duty at any time anyway.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How Long It Takes to Grow All Crops
While planting crops in Disney Dreamlight valley, it’s important to know how long they take to grow.
Pumpkins are a fantastic way to earn Star Coins, specifically when cooked into Pumpkin Puffs, which sell at Goofy’s Stall for 1,489 Star Coins. This is one of the most popular and reliable methods of earning money in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and this task can be completed at any time of the year, so once they have access to Pumpkin Seeds, they can finish this Dreamlight Duty once they’ve gathered enough Pumpkins.
