A creative player found a way to cross the intellectual property streams and build Hogwarts' Dining Hall within Disney Dreamlight Valley. While Gameloft's hit game lets players collect famous Disney characters along with furniture, decorations, and plants related to Disney properties, Harry Potter is owned by Warner Bros., not Disney. That intellectual property fact makes it all the more impressive that a Disney Dreamlight Valley player recreated one of the most iconic locations from the Wizarding World.

Creating gorgeous custom areas for Disney Dreamlight Valley characters has become common for fans of the game. The skill, patience, and ingenuity that has been on display even before the game comes out of Early Access is a testament to how creative gamers can be when expressing themselves. Usually though, those characters getting the custom areas and elaborate houses are already in the game, and themed items can be collected from the in-game vendors.

Gamer Cyrodiil shared an image on Reddit showcasing their recreation of Hogwarts' Dining Hall within Disney Dreamlight Valley. With Hogwarts recently being shown off in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy, it is easy to see how accurate the design is, with Cyrodiil's design work demonstrating what can be done with skill, patience, and a few well-placed floating candles. Naturally the scale of the recreation is significantly smaller than the actual School of Witchcraft and Wizardy's Dining Hall, but the end result is still an impressive display, revealing just how deep in-game creations can go.

The very first comment to Cyrodiil's posting asked about the floating candles and where to find them. Thankfully, Cyrodiil was on hand to explain that the item was added to Disney Dreamlight Valley in this month's Starpath. The Starpath is an equivalent to a Battle Pass in other titles, allowing users to unlock exclusive items and furniture as they complete quests. Once unlocked in the Starpath, users can purchase the items from Scrooge McDuck's catalog.

With over a thousand upvotes, the community is enjoying Cyrodiil's design, even starting a discussion about which of the Houses each Disney Dreamlight Valley character would belong to. Some strange suggestions include WALL-E as a Hufflepuff, Maui as a Slyhterin, and Scar as a Ravenclaw. Creating Disney Dreamlight Valley artwork using the in-game tools and items continues to be a constant source of amazing ideas and inspiration. As Cyrodiil has shown, franchises do not even have to be owned by the Disney conglomerate to make an appearance.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
