A Disney Dreamlight Valley player managed to creatively turn their avatar into Hercules. The demigod from the 1997 movie Hercules is not part of the game yet, but thanks to its extensive customization tools, players could bring to life many characters from Disney and other franchises in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

First released in August 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley lets players explore various realms where they can accomplish quests and acquire special items while befriending beloved Disney characters. The game is currently in Early Access—with the full release expected to arrive some time later this year—but players have been enjoying exciting updates, such as the Toy Story realm, and customizing their in-game spaces and avatars.

The latest in the long list of customized Disney Dreamlight Valley characters is Hercules, which was shared by player Born-Efficiency-7868 on Reddit. In their post captioned "Maui had a demigod competition in my village," they showed their avatar sporting Hercules' wavy ginger hair, gold armor, and brown sandals. A happy Stitch and eye-rolling Moana were also posing in the photo, as well as a statue of a flexing Maui displayed in the background.

Many Disney Dreamlight Valley players initially thought Hercules was added to the game after seeing Born-Efficiency-7868's creation, which they praised for how close it looked to the original character. This also prompted some to express how much they want the demigod and other Hercules characters to be added in the game. One player also noted that Disney Dreamlight Valley might add them in the future since there seems to be a Hercules filter in the clothes menu, but as of now, Gameloft has no official announcements yet regarding this.

If Hercules were to be added in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it would be interesting to also see Megara, Pegasus, Phil, and Hades with him in a Mount Olympus-inspired realm. Players could also do quests that call back to Hercules' training arc and epic battles from the movie. Plus points if Disney Dreamlight Valley would also include the Muses' infectious songs from the official soundtrack.

Disney has decades worth of movies and TV shows, so it wouldn't be a surprise if it's taking a while for Disney Dreamlight Valley to add every popular character all at once. So, it helps that Gameloft introduces new realms and characters every few months to keep the game fresh and interesting, and players can expect this pattern to continue once Disney Dreamlight Valley fully launches.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now through Early Access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
