With the recent ‘Pride of the Valley’ update in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers have some new characters that they can invite to the valley. Among them is Simba, the beloved character from ‘The Lion King.’ Just like every other character, he also brings lots of friendship quests that players can complete to level up their friendships with him, and one of them is Hakuna Matata.
Hakuna Matata is a level 2 friendship quest that tasks players with creating a relaxing environment in the village. The quest has some interesting requests, and there are quite a few steps to completing it. This detailed walkthrough will help players complete Hakuna Matata in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete Hakuna Matata in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To undertake the Hakuna Matata quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players need to have invited Simba back from his realm and level up the friendship level to level 2.
Talk to Simba
To start the Hakuna Matata quest, players will have to speak with Simba. During the conversation, he will tell them that he has noticed a sense of anxiety among the villagers and wants the player to make the environment more relaxing.
Simba wants players to put on something nice and comfortable, so start by wearing casual clothes. Simply go to the ‘Wardrobe’ menu and choose a casual outfit. Of course, the player can change their outfit again after completing this task.
Wear a Casual Outfit and Return to Simba
Once done, players will need to head back to Simba. He will admire the outfit but will request some more changes to make the valley more peaceful. Therefore, players should go to Peaceful Meadow and place the following furniture items there:
- 5 x Landscaping
- 3 x Seating
Place an Oasis Pool for Simba
Simba will be impressed by the decorative items. However, he misses the good old times when he used to swim in a pool with his friends. Therefore, the next step is placing a pool in the valley where he can swim on hot summer days.
For this purpose, players will need to visit Scrooge McDuck’s store, where the Oasis pool is available for 9,000 Star Coins. Alternatively, players can trade it with 5 Garnets, 3 Topaz, 5 Peridots, 2 Shiny Peridots, and 2 Shiny Aquamarines.
Revisit Simba
After purchasing the pool, place it anywhere in Peaceful Meadow and revisit Simba. He will be satisfied with the changes, concluding the Hakuna Matata quest.
