  • Due to his fiery temper, Hades' inclusion could offer intriguing narrative possibilities and enrich the game's story.

Launched in early access in 2022, Gameloft's Disney Dreamlight Valley quickly rose to prominence in the life simulation genre. Since its release, this charming hybrid of simulation and adventure gameplay has become well-known for its diverse cast of beloved Disney characters. While it's been confirmed that iconic figures like Princess Tiana will be making their way to Disney Dreamlight Valley, it's clear that one particular villain should be next in line.

Considering the vastness of the Disney universe, it makes sense that Gameloft can't add everyone's favorite characters at once. Notably, while there is already a piece of furniture called the "Well of Souls" from the Hercules franchise in Disney Dreamlight Valley, characters from this realm have yet to make an appearance. Regardless, Hades, the iconic antagonist from the 1997 animated film Hercules, would fit perfectly into the game's narrative.

Hades Would Fit Perfectly in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Roster

Hades' Silver Tongue Is An Iconic Part Of His Character

With the community's continuous desire for characters from Hercules to be in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Hades' inclusion would be well-founded considering how many people adored his character in the film. For instance, throughout Disney's portrayal of him, the god of the Underworld is known for being a smooth-talker with ambitions to overthrow Olympus. As a trickster, albeit one with a sense of humor, he's constantly seen trying to manipulate other characters for his benefit.

To exist in the life-simulation game, Hades' villainous role could see him acting as a god solely interested in what the player can offer him. This approach aligns with the self-serving personalities of Ursula and Mother Gothel, who already exist in the game. If Hades were to join the ranks of other Disney Dreamlight Valley villains, his silver tongue and analytical personality would be a welcome addition to the game's ever-evolving narrative.

Hades' Powers Would Make Him A Worthy Villain For Disney Dreamlight Valley

Hades Power

Furthermore, despite a tendency toward fiery outbursts, Hades usually maintains a facade of calm and composure. However, when his temper flares, his true power often becomes evident. His powers include but aren't necessarily limited to:

  • Telekinesis
  • Dominion of the Dead
  • Immortality
  • Fire Manipulation
  • Smoke Manipulation
  • Alchemy

Despite its focus on cozy life simulation, Disney Dreamlight Valley could still implement a strong character like Hades. While the title doesn't cater toward violence in any way, Hades' presence would still be worthy of respect. After all, despite how many years have passed since the film, he's still considered one of the most innately powerful villains in Disney's universe.

Additionally, Hades' inclusion could offer quite a few intriguing narrative possibilities. Perhaps his knowledge or connection to the underworld magic could be instrumental in unraveling the mystery of The Forgotten. His presence could even lead to access to new realms, like Mount Olympus, while introducing captivating quests tied to the underworld. Unfortunately, only time will tell if Gameloft plans to bring characters like Hercules and Hades to Disney Dreamlight Valley, but their potential for enriching the game's story is undeniable.
