For a game that is in Early Access, Disney Dreamlight Valley has an impressive amount of recipes that players can cook in their own house or in Remy's Restaurant. The star rank, along with the amount of energy restored by the recipe, varies greatly.

Though typically fewer stars means less energy restored, the tradeoff is that it generally takes fewer ingredients to make them. A good example of this is Roasted Asparagus. While it restores very little Energy, it doesn't take much to make it. This guide will show Disney Dreamlight Valley players how to make Roasted Asparagus and where to get the ingredients for it.

How To Make Roasted Asparagus

Roasted Asparagus is a two-star recipe. In order to make it, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to grow or purchase Asparagus and Canola. Asparagus seeds or pre-grown Asparagus can be purchased from Goofy's Stall located in the Frosted Heights, provided that players have unlocked and potentially upgraded the stall.

The next ingredient, Canola, can be purchased as a seed or pre-grown at Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor. If players choose to grow Asparagus, it is a cheaper option, but it takes two hours and fifteen minutes to grow. Canola grows much faster, as it only takes 35 minutes to be ready for harvest.

How Much Energy Does Roasted Asparagus Restore?

Despite all the ingredients being in biomes that are unlocked later on in the game, Roasted Asparagus restores a disappointing amount of energy. If Disney Dreamlight Valley players choose to eat it, Roasted Asparagus restores 221 Energy.

Since fruits like Gooseberry restore way more energy than that (600 Energy to be exact), Roasted Asparagus is an unreliable source for restoring Energy quickly. Even Seafood Appetizer, a one-star recipe, restores more energy than Roasted Asparagus. So if players are looking to have meals in their inventory for restoring Energy, there are countless better options than Roasted Asparagus.

Does Roasted Asparagus Show Up As An Order At Remy's Restaurant?

Like with every recipe in the game, Roasted Asparagus does show up as an order. Of course, this does require Disney Dreamlight Valley players to have completed the Quest to bring Remy to the village and then repair his restaurant. Fulfilling orders at Remy's Restaurant is a great way to get a boost toward the next Friendship Level of the character currently at the Restaurant. Beyond that, Roasted Asparagus has a chance of being one of the daily favorite items for one of the many Disney characters that live in the valley.

Giving these featured items is another great way for Disney Dreamlight Valley players to get Friendship Levels with characters that are below the maximum level, which is 10. So while Roasted Asparagus isn't very good for restoring Energy, it does have other uses.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
