Disney Dreamlight Valley entices players with over 200 unique recipes spanning appetizers to desserts. While most of these culinary delights utilize ingredients readily obtainable by foraging in the game's biomes or through farming, a small assortment of recipes call for seasonal ingredients available only during specific events.

Among these is the Spring Mimosa Eggs recipe, which requires ingredients players can collect only during the Eggstravaganza celebration. This springtime festivity's first occurance was in April 2023, and was a jubilant gathering where uniquely colored eggs could be found in abundance throughout the valley - some sprouting on bushes, others simply lying on the ground.

Sadly, players who haven't added this dish to their recipe repertoire will have to wait for the celebration's return to obtain the necessary ingredients. For those who do still have some of these materials and are eager to cook up this dish, here's how to prepare the Spring Mimosa Eggs dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Making Spring Mimosa Eggs in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires players to obtain three ingredients exclusive to the Eggstravaganza celebration, alongside a single sprig of Basil. The materials the player will need to craft this dish are:

  • 1 Spring V-EGG-etable
  • 1 Egg-cellent Fruit
  • 1 Wild Spring Egg
  • 1 Basil

Once prepared, this dessert replenishes 1095 energy when consumed, or it can be sold at Goofy’s Stall for 298 Star Coins. Plus, its crafting process is a key element in the completion of the seasonal Dreamlight Duty “Spring Taste Test”, a task still achievable outside the festive season provided the player has the necessary ingredients to cook three event-specific recipes.

The single sprig of Basil required for this recipe can be gathered year-round in the Peaceful Meadow biome. The challenge lies with obtaining the other ingredients, each available only during the Eggstravaganza celebration.

Spring V-EGG-etable can technically be cultivated outside the event, provided players have the necessary Wild Spring Egg and Egg-cellent Fruit to craft Spring V-EGG-etable Seeds. During the harvest, it is beneficial to have a companion with the Gardening role in tow to maximize the yield. However, since the player will no longer be able to obtain Wild Spring Egg and Egg-cellent Fruit, they are limited by their remaining supply of these ingredients once the event has passed.

Crafting both Spring V-EGG-etable Seeds and the Spring Mimosa Eggs necessitate these other two exclusive ingredients: Wild Spring Egg and Egg-cellent Fruit. During the Eggstravaganza event, Wild Spring Eggs lie scattered across various biomes for players to discover while the Egg-cellent Fruit grows on bushes growing throughout the valley during the event.

Unfortunately, once the Eggstravaganza festivities have ended, these ingredients will cease to spawn. Therefore, players may need to wait until the following year’s celebration to recreate this dish, fulfill the associated Dreamlight Duty, and complete their Meals list in the Collection menu.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
