Mother Gothel assigns players with the quest 'My Kingdom for a Scroll' after they reach level two friendship with her. Basically, Scrooge possesses the Sun's Scroll that the witch wants. Upon asking him, players will find out that McDuck hid the Scroll in a locked chest and threw away the key to that chest in the waterfall. What players need to do is look for that key first, then the chest, and hand over both items to Mother Gothel to complete the quest.
Before embarking on the journey to find the key, players need to make sure that they have unlocked the Glade of Trust, as the biome holds the very location where Scrooge McDuck's key can be found. Once players get to the Glade of Trust, they need to travel North to reach the waterfall.
Next, go to the right side of the waterfall and look for the golden ripples in the water; that's the hint for Scrooge McDuck’s key. Once there, players need to equip the fishing rod and aim at the golden ripples appearing on the left side of the lake and fish out the key. It is important to note that ripples other than golden ones won't warrant the required key, as different ripple colors indicate different items and fish species in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Once players get Scrooge McDuck's key, they need to get back to Dazzle Beach. Once there, get the chest buried near the Mystical Cave. Dig it up using the shovel, collect it, and go back to Mother Gothel with the key and the chest. This will conclude the My Kingdom for a Scroll quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and players will get 180 friendship XP as a reward.
